What would you trade for?
Most the time we think about time for money on here. Probably the best experiences I had with escorts was ones that were well way out side what I normally would pay.
Car repair ...
Painting portrait ...
Photography work ...
Computer work ...
Security stuff ... dealing with a problem...
Putting them in touch with a friend ...
Tutoring ... college course work and thesis
custom furniture ...
Granted others I've been friends with were willing to trade for stuff more in the line of jewellery, clothing, ...
So here is my question what things have you traded time for or are willing to trade time for besides the obvious cash?

Bartering is the oldest form of payment...predates money. I do think there is a place for it in the hobby. However, there are a LOT of practical problems, as has been pointed out in another thread. In some respects the practical problems outweigh the benefits.

Thanks for pointing those out. Not sure I agree with every ones issues on them though.
I like the one who was talking about wanting her money to work for her and grow. Hmmm. I seen guys give paintings that were worth over 100K that are going to do nothing but go up in value. custom Jewelry... There has been a lot more valuable things given to women. Those aren't the normal for most escorts though. So not everything that is offered is junk or going to depreciate in value.
While some providers would be more than willing to take advantage of something and just accept it as a gift and you would be left high and dry. Not all are that way.
It is the difference between what makes class and trash. One of the best encounters I ever had was when I pulled over and help a young lady change a tire. She happened to be an escort gave me a card and told me give her a call the next time I was in the area.
Far as that goes paying someone cash doesn't always work out either.
I've gotten more trade for tail though by far from civilians. Not that it was ever expect and I don't always go after what is offered. Usually I just help people out and expect zero in return. I don't get disappointed that way.
But it is interesting how people create expectations of what is going to happen.

You gotta be a lot better looking than me!! No matter how nice I've been, there's never been an overture in that direction. And don't look at my avatar...it's fantasy.

I know a girl that opened a fantasy themed barber shop in Portland and traded for most of the work that was done, preparing for the biz to open. When she got tired of doing her part of the deal, she didn't finish what she had started. It's unfortuante that it happened like that~she left good hearted people high and dry.Thankfully, not all girls are like that.
I had someone texture most of the insideof my house and it worked out great for both of us.

I am not the most hand some person there is. Probably what works most for me is personality and confidence.
Not sure if we are allowed to put our own pic up as an avatar on here. Not like anyone cares to see what I look like though.

Bartering is fascinating to me as a concept, but I can't think of too many ways I could apply it to this lifestyle... I'm a simple girl and don't really want much At least, nothing that isn't more convenient for me to buy for myself.
Occasionally when I do see something that piques my interest, I'll let the right man know about it!

DID SOMEBODY SAY BARTER?
Well, yeee-frickin-haw!
In this economy I think most hobbyists could warm up to this notion of the bartered session.
Hell, ladies, me and my buddies have tons of hidden talents and a mess of stuff out back behind the barn that we could trade for uhhhmm. . . some feminine kindness.
Any of you purty gals want to do some business over the barrel on spec for some rusty gold, that just might be a hidden treasure?
All kidding aside, I have in the past traded with gals just on serendipity. I had some good or service they needed, and they ALWAYS have what I need.
Let's give this a spin. Gals, what do you need? Gent's what do you have?

I myself have bartered with a few providers. I would repair their vehicles, and we would compare would it take time wise to compensate. The best way to do it I have found was to prepare the estimate, parts, labor all of it and present it. I am sure to wait until the provider offers to "make a deal". Has seemed to work so far and frequently. More often I see these providers, the more often I start having them "pay for parts."

Over the years I have traded for vehicle maintenance, tires, laptops, massages, etc.
Sometimes I came out the loser and sometimes the winner. Will I do it again? Yes

I had an excellent run with a gentleman who worked for a major hotel chain where he would comp me 3-4 nights in return for a session. He no longer works for that chain or I would still be gladly taking him up on it still. Though he did move on to a better paying position.
Kisses,
R

My list above is the short list. Automotive including engine repair, Electrical, tiling floors, roofing, painting, interior remodelling, such as moving walls, Cabinetry, custom furniture, programming, system design, personal security, painting as in oil canvas, Introductions to certain friends..., custom furniture, locate certain things and info... photography them and other individuals, showing them around town,
In all honesty it was usually a case where they needed help or wanted something and they didn't want to spend the money they had to get it. A few like helping with the tire I would have done for nothing but they offered.

Based on what my SO considers to be men-only chores, I should be able to trade sessions for taking out the trash, changing the litter, mowing the grass, trimming the trees, sweeping the porch, etc.
[Note: I should mention that I'm dangerous to myself whenever I pick up a hammer or other such tool.]
