Havinfuntwo Is right about Drago's The raw and grilled oysters are the best. I go there all the time. And I know a little about oysters.

Acme is OK, but it will be swamped with tourists. Drago's char grilled are far better and you won't have to wait in line to just get through the door.

Harbor in kenner isn't bad. Desire Oyster Bar, Felix's Restaurant & Oyster Bar, Oceana Grill, all in french quarter.

i forgot about drago's the oysters are great, then you can catch the trolly car or walk to cafe du monde for the best beignets ,all of this is in the french quarter, the riverwalk is connected to the hilton,it contains shops and a food court,in the food court you can sample some of new orleans good foods, they also have a small cafe du monde for beignets

Reading this thread I am very hungry now! What time are we meeting at Drago's? The char grilled oysters in that buttery sauce is devine!!!! Benyays always a great dessert after a big meal. Could eat at the Severn location and very close is Morning Call for benyays.

George Porter Jr is playing down there now, as I type!
