What Happen to Sports Radio 610

This is totally my opinion but 610 has become unlistenable. I am a 790 guy in the afternoon but I always switch the dail back and forth. Its healthy. But lately, I have kept it exclusively on 790 due to 610s somewhat new format. They start off with sports but more often than not, Josh hijacks the show babbling on about some wild frat night that I honestly believe never happened or talks about how his girlfriend wont have sex with him blah blah blah. They guy is terrible. Instead of establishing himself with a legit sports talk identity, he trys to cross Jim Rome with Howard Stern. I never really liked Rich Lord but I someone what respected him when he was paired with Charlie those many moons ago. Even he is very uncomfortable with Josh sometimes. In a perfect world, Rich leaves and pairs up with Charlie at 790.

I fucking hate the immature ahole josh. I do like the morning show guys plus I like to hear the General on Texan football.

To be fair, on occasion, josh does make a good point, but his basic immaturity has almost driven me completely from 610.

610's demise started when Charlie left the afternoon show...... and was sealed when John and Lance jumped ship in the morning too....... VanDermere is like listening to the Wacky Morning show with all of his sounds and drops and Rich Lord was only entertaining when he had a legit know-it-all like CP with him...... 790 is ok, but I think Charlie needs someone to work off of to be better also...... and I have a hard time turning the dial off of 1560 since John and Lance in the morning jumped over there.....

I didn't realize 610 was still around. All the talent left many moons ago.
1560 works for me. Not all the time, but most of the time. Lance in the morning is the best thing going.

I like 1560 during the day, then in the evening I enjoy Petros & Money on 790.

2 of my favorite things that happen on 610

1. My coach Kevin Sumlin telling John Lopez to shut the hell up and stop spreading rumors about coaching vacancies and that he has bullshit sources. John Lopez pissed his pants. CLASSIC!!!
2. During the Shell Houston Open, Josh called the Japanese golfer stupid for giving away all his proceeds from the tournament for the Japanense relief. Callers immediatly jump on Josh for his stupid remark and calling him an idiot. When he started hanging up on callers to stop their legit bashing of Josh, even more callers called and piled on Josh for his stupid remark. Josh later says, "if you dont like it, switch to another station. Then Rich replies and I am paraphrasing here, "Dude, you can not tell listeners to switch the other station, are you out of your mind? Later a caller called and said, "Thanks for the advice. As of today, I am switching to another station.

Between John and Lance, the Cablinasian, and Travis Rodgers, I don't have room in my sports radio life anyone else. If it it wasn't for Jim Rome, 610 would be completely dead to me.

610 did something unforgivable last year. Its even worst now in hindsight. They interrupted the 2010 Smack Off to go to a live press conference introducing 1st Round Draft Pick Kareem Jackson.

I do like Vandemeer. Unfortunately he has been burdened with idiots like John Lopez and the rest of them. Sometimes I can even tell by listening that he feels the same way. I noticed the down spin when Andre left the morning show. I love listening to the General.

The wacky whistle is the worst thing I' ever heard. Josh is a flake. He just goes on and on about the most inappropriate crap. Youu can tell Rich Lordwants to crawl under a rock sometimes.
