This is the sandbox, a wide variety of other topics that are not hobby-related. Personally, I find everyone's ideas a lot of fun. I find the ability of everyone is valued. In the corps we had an acting gunnery Sergeant with an GCT (IQ) of 62, while everyone under him had an GCT (IQ) of at least 160. We helped him and he helped us because of his experience. He did his job.

Silly Girl I hope you just mistyped clowns, it would me think much more highly about you. I have a great black guy that works for me, with a low IQ; he does the work that I don't have time for, and he does a much better job than I would be able to do. The buildings are clean, the floors shine, and he makes an income. He has my respect.

I think SG was saying that some here have a mental capacity that hasn't exceeded that of a child, although that person is an adult. Sure sometimes looks that way. JR is right, too. Oh, the topic. Yeah, be on topic. Uh, well, I don't normally read books and assign them into the liberal or conservative category. Even Atlas Shrugged has few commonalities with modern day conservatism. I guess the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan series could be considered conservative. I never got conservative out of Heinlein. Books where the plot is the individual against the state are not necessarily conservative, because today's conservative is just as much a statist as the liberal, just arriving at the same place through different means.

A couple of books I would recomend for anyone. A liberal and conservitive and even a filthy arab bomb throwing nazi loveing commie.
"Free Lunch" and " Perfectly Legal" both by David Cay Johnston. But I'll warn you now you'll be pissed both times you read each book. Check them out.
