End of the world fiesta?

Supposedly in December of 2012 the world is going to either end or there is going to be a great change, so I say we all go out in a blaze of glory!
We throw a bash like no other! If nothing happens we can say we had fun!
Why not go out having fun if it does end?

I wonder if Americans are going to freak out like they did for Y2K? That was hilarious! Maybe there was a conspiracy behind Y2K. The economy must have been slumping so "they" tricked us into buying a bunch of shit we wouldn't need.

Either way I going to have fun so I say we all do!

Also this is just an idea because I'm terrible at planning parties.

The world is not going to end on 12/2012. TV preachers have been predicting the end of times since the beginning of television. Before that tent revival preachers were saying the end is near. Christians that were living during the time of Christ thought that they were living in the end of days.

But let's have a party anyway.

All this end of the world talk based on the the Mayan calender just shows how damn stupid most Americans are.

The Maya name for a day was k'in. Twenty of these k'ins are known as a winal or uinal. Eighteen winals make one tun. Twenty tuns are known as a k'atun. Twenty k'atuns make a b'ak'tun. Misinterpretation of the Mesoamerican Long Count Calender is the basis for a New Age belief that a cataclysm will take place on December 21, 2012. December 21, 2012 is simply the day that the calendar will go to the next b'ak'tun.

It says the Mayan Calendar ends. Just like the April 2011th calendar, you simply turn the page. If you see a 5/27 date, that most likely is close to when the collapse of the US happens.
