Kid Rock's cover of "Feel like makin' love" by Bad Co and

Lenny Kravitz's cover of "American Woman" by The Guess Who

are the two that are most memorable for me.

Oh, and Aerosmith's cover of "Come Together"

BM.... Kid Rock did a good job on that too. He's got some pretty good stuff.

Todd Rundgren's cover of The Tubes, "Feel It." TR slows it down, funks it up & just makes it a very soulful, sexy tune. Problem is...I think he co-wrote the tune with them & I know he produced the CD it was on. So, technically, I don't know it qualifies as a "cover"...

He also does a wonderful cover medley of Marvin Gaye tunes...What's Going On / Mercy, Mercy Me / I Want You that are just suburb!!

Pink's live version of "I Touch Myself".... that was HOT

NIN "Hurt"

"Personal Jesus" (both by Gravity Kills and Marilyn Manson (sp?))

Would CMT's Crossroads fall into this? The Taylor Swift / Def Leppard combination was ROCKIN (about the only T.S. I can stand as well)

+1 for 5 Finger Death Punch "Bad Company"
+1 for Framing Hanly "Lollipop"

Hallelujah is by Leonard Cohen. I'm sure you know that.

I was in Oslo a year ago or so. On a long train ride back to UK during volcano problems.

I walked up and down the main street. Two people 50 yards apart were playing the song.

A few yards later I caught the eye of a pretty African girl (or was it the other way round). The Oslo police refused her to come to my room, so we got a cab and went back to her room. She shared it with another couple of girls.

We got busy. She was very tight, great ass. Another girl brought a client into the room, he was drunk (so was I). They got busy. But he had a hard time getting it up. He looked over to me and my girl and asked some quizzical questions. I slept with my girl and fucked her again in the morning.

I visited Oslo again a month later and we met up again a couple of times. Had a threesome with the other girl.

Hallelujah, hallelujah.

Correct, Essence, I was buzzed. Your story sounds a little like Cohen's "Suzanne".

Others
Joe Cockers "The Letter". He makes it his own:

And my favorite cover of all time:
Ben Folds Five version of Dre's "Bitches Ain't Shit"
