I'll say this, whether a woman is a provider or not, I think us guys can usually tell which chicks are more open for biz. Maybe its the vibes they give off, their overall demeanor, I don't know. Some chicks look as guarded as Fort Knox and some don't.

It's an instinct that all guys have I believe, and I think once you see one that looks like she puts out, then it's a matter of either working your game or just breaking down and offering cash for some time together.

I have to chime in because I had a very unusual experience a week ago. I went to check out a friend's band downtown at a popular 4th St club and came back from the dance floor and there was this rather handsome fellow in a kilt w/ all the trimmings standing by the wall next to my chair. When I arrived a bit earlier, all the tables were taken, but there were 2 empty chairs by this one couple. As I'm not shy, I asked if they minded I sat down. They were agreeable & ended up being friends of the same person I was there to see. Anyway, back to the kilt wearer. We started chatting a couple of songs later & seemed to hit it off, so the male in the couple offered him the other chair. We all joined in the convo at that point. Ends up everyone was pretty cool & open-minded. There were some occasions when the convo would break of course, and resume on a 1x1 basis and during one of those times, it came out that not only was I a PRO, but so was my kilt-wearing friend. He was flown to Austin from NY to spend the weekend w/ an affluent lady, but she'd had to cancel. We later discovered that the female in the couple had a roommate who was an escort at one time, also. Interesting how that all came to be. Anyway, I did ask the Scottish bloke if he'd had any idea I was an escort, and he said either an escort or a potential client as I was well-dressed and confident. Those are things I could understand belonging to either case in the viewpoint of a male escort.

When I spot trashy looking girls being brazen or openly sexual out on the town, I usually just think "slut". LOL Occasionally, I may take that to the next level, but not first thing. That's probably because I don't make a habit out of picking up people at bars. Never have, actually, until the story above.

A lot of this is confirmation bias. You think one thing, are paranoid, or are afraid of something so the things you tend to notice are the things that confirm that belief, or you will even go as far as coloring the experience to confirm what you already suspect.

I have seen enough providers from all walks of life as well as strippers and sugar babies to know that there is not a distinguishing characteristic for any of them before talking to them. We all play the game of "what would her rate be" in different situations - hobbyists and providers alike, but I've known enough men and women to have to give benefit of doubt that a confident person is just that, a confident person. Trashy, well dressed or casual, choice of attire is of no import in this matter either. There are providers that dress as well as business women, casual as college students, and trashy as anyone else.

What does catch my eye are people out of place. Woman dressed in a business suit in a lower end extended stay hotel, someone nervous at a high priced restaurant, someone who can't speak the lingo at a convention, etc..

Once I start talking to them, I can catch on pretty quick.

1) Paranoia isn't always a bad thing. It can keep you from doing something stupid or running into certain problems.

2) I think that some lovely ladies who aren't in the hobby feel they're wearing a flashing "hooker" sign, too.

3) Lots of guys are looking at the lovely ladies not in the hobby and seeing "hooker" signs even when they aren't. Prudish old ladies are thinking the same thing, too.

4) You WILL get spotted by someone who's seen your pictures. Even if you never show a head shot, or blur them, some guy will say, "hey, I recognize that wrist from the pictures she posted 4 years ago." Some of these guys are like the bloodhound that figures out where someone sat 3 days ago in a football stadium. One lady came back after a multi-year hiatus, posted one recent, blurred photo with the head cropped out and half a dozen guys immediately recognized her.

WELL THIS JUST HAPPENED twice.................... not so much you could tell from the look that they were providers but I guess it depends on how real your pictures are and updated and not photo shopped. SO I am at the boats sitting there playing the one arm bandet having a drink or two or three haveing fun and this guy sits down, Now I am winning and he says man I hope I can hit because I need some splurging money I sure could use a massage.
