I say whatever the rate is at the time you book your appointment is what should be paid even if it is changed hours later.

What I have said in the past is that I've been disappointed in about 80% of meetings. Are some meetings better than others? Yes. Are some worse? Yes. But for the most part, I've been disappointed.

I've seen a couple of ladies who, if I had the opportunity, I would see again.

But no matter how bad the experience, I've never panned any lady on a review. Maybe I should have, but I didn't. I don't do reviews any more.

Charles, you have accused me before of not being able to take a joke. Now it is my turn. Relax! I was kidding when I said that maybe she hiked up the rate when she read your posts, hence the jumping crazy sticking-his-tongue-out smiley! My favorite, by the way.

I apologize for my incorrect ideas about your previous posts. I was under the impression that you have never met a lady you had a satisfactory time with. Still, if past experiences are indicative of future ones, then there is stillgood chance that you would have been dissatisfied.

This is one of the reasons why I do not run specials. It is a big mistake and one I made when I first entered the hobby. I only offer specials via email to my clients not as a whole but individually. If I like you and I want to spend more time with you I will give you a special. Other than that, I am special everyday.

"no matter how bad the experience" (not that I've had any really bad experiences), I would never "pan" a woman, either. Maybe you should have? - NO , in my opinion. These lovely women, as long as they are not disrespecting or cheating/stealing from their clients, demand a high level of respect - for their courage at least, to meet with "the unknown" - guys like us!
So no - you shouldn't have, and don't.

Let's not go overboard, Joshua. Given that there is a very specific quid pro quo involved, simply meeting "the unknown" client doesn't alone command the high level of respect you wish to bestow upon them. It takes more than that, and frankly, those who truly deserve it deserve to stand out from those who don't.

A special usually has a specified period of time (or specified service) for the special stated in the ad. Any gent who attempts to extend that "special" to future dates is simply attempting to get more than he's paying for. Based on my experience, that gent's reputation will become such that it will be difficult for him to schedule a date with a reputable provider.

Based on past experiences, I don't schedule a date with a provider while she is running a special.

I also want to add my thoughts on special rates or special services extended to regular clients. The special rate or services should only apply as long as the gent remains a regular/frequent client. (By the way, it's important that the provider and the client are on the same page as to what constitutes being a regular client.)

I'm going to use myself as an example. A career change last April has dramatically altered my participation in the hobby. Quite simply, I don't have near this disposable income to spend on the hobby. In fact, I haven't scheduled a date with a provider since October 2010 ... including my ATF.

Though I was a regular client to several providers, my ATF is the only provider who has maintained any contact with me during my financial inability to remain active in the hobby. In fact, she initiates the majority of our weekly phone chats.

As my finances are slowly improving, I am ready to schedule a hobby date and there's absolutely no question with whom I'll schedule that date.

Since I have not been a regular client in the last six months; there is no way I'll schedule a date with her under our previous "special" arrangement. It's only fair to her that I pay her full rate without any additional privileges she extended to me when I was a regular client.

I know this is going to be an issue when I contact her to schedule our date as she will insist on maintaining our prior arrangement. I won't schedule a date with her under those arrangements because I won't be able to enjoy myself because of the guilt I'd be feeling the whole time.

I apologize if I got too far off course of the intent of this thread!

Pjpenner,

I liked the comment that you put and I think that shows true character on your part for honoring her current rates even if she wants to give you a special for being loyal to your ATF. For me if a lady runs a special I would still want to pay the regular fees. Especially if I've seen her before. I almost feel as she lowers her rate her performance might be a little lowered and I would rather pay the full amount and get the kind of service i'm used to. Just my 2 cents.

Good point, Doove. I guess what I was trying to say is, that I have a great deal of respect for our providers just from the inherent risk they take in seeing us for the first time. So I would never "pan" them if things didn't go as well as I might have hoped or expected. Now, if there was something really uncomfortable, or objectionable that happened on our first meeting, I would mention it in a review as a "room for improvement" issue. But you are right, those that truly deserve that higher level of respect, due to the way they shine above many others, definitely should get that more positive feedback. I come from the school - "If you can't say something nice, then...."
