For what I do, which is strap on, prostate play, fisting, etc: J-lube is the best, particularly when you use very warm water to mix it. I also love, love, love the water-based Boy Butter.

Astroglide is okay for the first 20 minutes or so, but it doesn't keep it together.

I consider it fabulous when I *only* have half a dozen bottles...

Most people don't want more than 15-30 minutes of actual strap on... But when I do a session that is 90 minutes to 2 hours of anal-exploration. I should be more clear... with all lubes, you have to add more... or with something like J-lube, you add more because the warmth feels good. But when you are doing a longer session, some lubes get more get like... Or they start balling or pilling up on any available hair. Or they become extra ordinarily sticky. This is a particular problem when you start with a rosebud and prostate massage and then go to strap on... Altough it is kind of funny... The lube you used earlier starts to stick to the harness and makes amusing noises as you thrust in and out...

I have also heard that olive oil is a good lubricant. Any thoughts/comments on this?

I think ID Glide is the best around. You don't need much and it lasts for a while. It's water based. There's also a silicone based version that works pretty good for anal and shouldn't break down condoms. Be wary, the only way to get the silicone stuff off is to wash it off. The water based ones will eventually dry out or absorb. The silicone stuff will leave your cheeks or any other part with a non-stick coating that will last all day! You can find it at Walgreens or the Adam & Eve store.

Liquid Silk is absolutely fabulous.

Grapeseed oil. It is an amazing massage oil, and readily available in grocery stores, and tastes good, and is "all natural". Coconut oil is probably the second best. I'm not sure about whether either dissolve latex condoms.

I'm kindof expanding my horizons some with toys and the such and yesterday, I did order a few different bottles of lube because I'm running low. I ordered some ID Glide and a bottle of Astroglide in a strawberry flavor which I had never seen before. I'm looking forward to trying out the ID Glide.

Although I used to be sortof simplistic by only using KY liquid, I did get some H2O in "tangerine dream" that I just LOVE. I love the taste and men love the texture of it.

I need to go back and reread this thread and get some other ideas!

HAHAHA, now I feel like a cheepo, everyone knows their brands and the best situation to be used on!!! I had only bought lube once before...... from wallmart... hahahahahahha
