What do you think of this BP ad, emails and credit card verification process?

Here is the email I sent in response to the ad:

Here was the reply:

First of all, This girl is asking to be arrested. The credit card verification is not what got me but she actually listed services like that? WOW!

Thanks, that credit card verification really bothers me. I was thinking maybe just a total scam

It's a scam, the same ad is on the backpage where I'm from and is the topic of discussion over in the Alabama section where a newbie is asking about it-

Just another reason to avoid looking for ladies on backpage.

Yes the only time I have tried before was a local agency out of the phonebook about 6 years ago.

Why are you using BP and phonebook escort agencies when you know about this site? Why not just go see a well reviewed lady instead of playing Russian Roulette?

A hard and fast rule is you simply DO NOT provide your credit card number, for ANY reason, in this business. Period! No questions asked. This is a 99.5% cash industry and if you even hear the words "credit card" back away and get out right then.

In this "age-verification" scenario, that $1.00 will turn into many many more charges to your card, billing disputes, and ultimately having to cancel that card and get a replacement. There are plenty of reports on here and elsewhere of this long-time scam going on; none of them ended well.

There are a very few legit ladies that accept cards for sessions, but in that case you are physically handing your plastic to them in person, they process it in front of you and they hand it back to you. Thats the .5% not accounted for above.

I guess. IMHO if I was a guy and I knew about this site I would never even contact a lady unless her good reviews here or another legit review board outnumbered the bad ones. I guess I will never get it, since I am a female and think with a female mind.
