Sorry for your troubles.

Well on the bright side, sounds like you have a few ladies ready to take care of you whenever you need. Thats always good.

There are a few guys out there, with no one to call.

So smile and thank your lucky stars for the reliable ladies that treat you good. :-)

I agree that saying "try again" in a text or email means try someone else instead, not really interested in your company.

I always find that if one provider doesn't want to see me there are plenty more who will and will like seeing me.

Travel forth my friend, explore other avenues.

I don't think " please keep trying" means, "go see someone else". I have used it before and it simply means, for me anyway, "Please don't give up on me."

The only time I use the phrase "keep trying", is when someone tries to book with me, but I am either unavailable per my posted schedule, or I am fully booked.

What's wrong with "I'm sorry I had to cancel unexpectedly; my next available appointment is Tuesday at 4 pm"?

At least that indicates the lady still wishes to see the gentleman...no ambiguity whatsoever...

No no no--- If I have to CANCEL, then yes, I would say something in that vein. I mean if Joe Hobby contacts me and says "Hey, can you see me at 3?" I would reply "Unfortunately, I'm fully booked for the day, but I'd love to see you another time. Just keep trying and we'll make it work!!"

Thats the only time I'd use the words "keep trying"

She gave me more than 24 hours notice, which was appreciated. But she ended her email with "keep trying".(Please keep trying though.) I may "keep trying". I am honestly not sure. And I ended my email with, I hope you're doing well....

I equate "keep trying' with "DIFFICULT". (so sorry you feel that way)

DIFFICULT IS A NON-STARTER WITH ME.

Thank you for listening.

I feel better already!!!!
This is really not my style to put my business in coed or any other forum, but I have to say Steve, I am very surprised by your rant and by saying I was rude in my email...Just because I had to cancel. In
Which I feel you should have addressed me in a email or pm to tell me how you felt and Steverino I did apologize in my email that I had to cancel..I have always treated YOU and anyone else that I have seen with common courtesy and respect...So if you were hurt or offended because I had to cancel, I am so sorry, I do have a life out side of this hobby Steverino, AS YOU DO, and things are bound to come up....
I am so happy you have found some ladies to take care of you.....

I didn't see the word rude in the original rant.

terse: abrupt: brief and unfriendly, often conveying annoyance.

rude: discourteous or impolite, especially in a deliberate way: a rude reply.

I agree with Fawn; this should have been kept off the front pages.

He actually specifically said that the email was "polite" but "terse". Sometimes when we have something pop up we are trying to take care of, we are shorter than we perhaps intend to be.

Perception is everything.

Thank you, trynagetlaid...for understanding about privacy....
And yes you're right it said, almost to the point of
being rude....
