reading the ads of providers

Do the gents here read the entire ads of the ladies that post?

I mean I have been getting alot of newbies calling me or texting me but mostly calling me wanting to know if I am available. This is getting worse than before.
I post weekly and usually on the weekend availabilty also. And on those ads.. I always say that I am newbie friendly but newbies need to pm me first. And if that isnt enough I also state that I WONT screen by text or phone.
So why is this still going on? Do others have the same issues?
I am not looking for the regular bashing that has been going on with the board.. I want to know how we as providers can fix this. I much more clearer can one be?
if anyone has any suggestions that can help please chime in.. same to the ladies... what do you do when this happens to you?

Your pretty much clear on your ads mslove each and everytime. Some people just fail to follow the rules on how to communicate with you. Hell you even post times on your ads when your available. If you want to make a change then suggest that putting newbies contact you thru pms on your signature. I hope that help.

Hey MsLove, I honestly believe most people do not read the entire ad. I think all providers get tons of emails from guys who did not follow thru with directions inthe ad. I also think that some fellas might do that on purpose. They email you a vague "hey, you are hot, whats up?" And no other details. As a seasoned provider I can usually sniff out a time waster/pen pal seeker usually within the first or second email. Some are such great time wasters you've gone on to 10 plus emails before you realize this is going no where and your communicating with a total flake.

My point is, some don't follow directions on purpose. They are merely seeking attantion, hopibg for any kind of attention.

I think that maybe some guys see something they like and forget to read every thing. My ad clearly states "no calls after 6 pm" and my phone rings off the hook all times.

I heard a study before about dating sites... it stated that ads with 10 words or less are more 80% more likely to be responded to than longer ads by men. Meaning men don't want to have to read a lot, and if there is more than that they are going to find the "quick" information they need and wing it from there.

Just a thought... I am sure it's not the same for every man, and there are plenty here that are very respectful and do their research before contacting us to know everything they need to know other than the time and place to play !

Hey there mslove, customers/clients not bothering to read the details is part & parcel in the service/retail world. What can you do?

Maybe the little head takes over and can't read the "fine print" with the one eye, lol.

Most don't, 3 to 4 sentences is too hard lol. There's a minority that skims and then there's the even smaller minority that reads every word.

This isn't just about men, it's people in general that do this.

Sell something on Craigslist and you'll find that nobody really reads anything.

I have to agree. I don't think most of us newbies are thinking with the head on our shoulders. Thankfully I haven't made that mistake yet. Truly sorry for the inconvenience to our lovely providers.

when they call and say hey..this so a so..are you available?
me:who is this? have we spoke/pm'ed..have i screened you?
them:uhhh no..but i was hoping we could meet right now or in an hour..
me: oh ok..youre really optimistic...how do you suggest i screen you so quickly
them: idk...
me: oh ok...well looks like we wont be meeting right now.
(and then i ask them to send their info for a future date. which they hardly ever do)

hopefully. however...theyll understand through those few lines that it just isnt possible. if it were possible, they would have been able to give "me" a solution
i have to admit....its usually younger guys. (most) mature gents undertand screening is important, they understand what its about. and understand a quality companion will ask for it, actually use it..and it takes a little bit of time.
the only way to prevent it...is to not list a number.

Guess I'm from the "old school" where guys actually read ads and followed the directions. Its really very obvious to me that many do NOT read them because they just post something like

"..hey anybody --- I'm available tonight--PM me.."

Sometimes I think I have accidentally signed into AFF.

MsLove, this has been an ongoing issue since I got into the hobby...it's just one of those things that goes with the territory. Every now and then, I get a pm from someone who actually tries to give me grief over me not stating what my screening requirements are...hee hee!
