Default Rick Martin

Buffalo Sabres legend Rick Martin died today while driving his vehicle in Clarence of an apparent heart attack. He was 59. Sad day in Buffalo Sabres Land. Rick Martin was a founding member of the famous French Connection line along with Gilbert Perreault and Rene Robert. I watched many games in aw watching that line preform magic on the ice, Martin was a gifted goal scorer. He will be missed.

Even thought I am a Bruins fan. I loved to go to the old AUD and watch that line work its magic It sure is a sad day .It was good to see the 3 of them on the ice together when they announced the new Buffalo owner.

Very sad news, I'm glad that the French Connection was reunited one last time at Pegula's first game. Cherish every day like it could be your last.
Rico - Rest in Peace..........

As kids, we would spend many afternoons playing hockey on the ice in the erie canal basin. Always pretending to be the french connection! What great memories. So sad to lose him.
