President Trump has talked with Putin 5 times and even before being sworn in Bidumm hadn't talked to him in 3 years. Basset said Zelenskyy is coming to Washington end of April to sign deal

A peace proposal by the Trump administration that includes recognizing Russian authority over Crimea shocked Ukrainian officials, who say they will not accept any formal surrender of the peninsula, even though they expect to concede the territory to the Kremlin, at least temporarily.
going nowhere

Ceding Crimea and other occupied territories to Russia as a condition of any peace proposal will never fly.

Trump said he could get this done in 24 hours.
Now he floats a non starter peace agreement.
Not surprising to see continued lies and hyperbole from this man. Bombastic.

That is a death sentence Salty. Served by an idiot dictator wannabe.
Congress would have to approve or remove funding, right? (Remember the people of the USA?)

On the one hand, Trump announced he was ready to add new sanctions on Russia after meeting Zelenskyy at Pope Francis' funeral at St. Peter's Basilica, which is certainly in order.
on the other hand, almost simultaneously, Trump makes a "peace proposal" that unilaterally hands over Crimea to Russia, which is just silly.
talk about someone with zero plausible coherent strategy. smdh..

Trump’s main goal is to end the killing.
If neither side wants to come to an agreement, then fuck both of them.
Let them keep shooting each other until everybody is dead or they run out of people to shoot.
Obama let a Putin march right into Crimea.
Biden let Putin invade the rest of Ukraine.
Why is this Trump’s problem, when what he is doing is to stop the killing.?

You're right, Jacky. It's not Trump's problem. None of this is Trump's problem. So fuck everybody, right?
He's knob slobbering Putin and always has.

... The liberal lads surely don't want you to mention
ANY o' that, mate.
They were NOT concerned about the Ukraine/Russia war
when Biden was on... They could IGNORE it as long as
President Biden was sending Ukraine money. $$$$$
... Now President Trump is trying to broker peace
and the end to the war - and the liberals piss on that.
How Sad...

The deeply irrational hatred and distrust on both sides of the Hamas/Gaza thing is difficult to grasp by a pragmatist like President trump. There is no incentive the Gaza folks will take to give up their dream of a Jewish genocide . . .and the Israelis have "had it up to here."
Similarly, in the case of the Russian-Ukraine war. the Ukrainians want their country back and Putin wants the USSR back. Not really much to negotiate there. Perhaps if one or the other national leader had a convenient heart attack . . .

What the problem is- is that Trump has (always does) over plays his hand and abilities. I get that he would like to be a guy who gets people to get together and find a resolution, but that would assume that he knows how to negotiate (he doesnt) and that the people fighting want to stop (Vlad doesnt). And same with Gaza- the palestinians think that the way to stop to end the jewish state in it's entirety.
I don't dislike Trump for trying- I dislike him for lying about everything he says he will try or will do. It's not just egg prices or tarrifs, but that he will have ended two wars before he's already in office. 100 days afterwards, the economy is shitting itself ( thanks orange guy) and the wars rage on, and on and on. That's batting 000.00 and tell us how congress who approved the aid to Ukraine was a unilateral decision by Biden- it wasn't. It was when there was two parties watching a dictator march across another country that disarmed itself with the guarantee that if shit happened, that others would come to it's aid. Knowing that- when Russia has stopped being the agressor- then we should stop. This won't end well, till Russia is forced to stop.
Why don't you conservatives tell us why he cant' close these deals or get results?

Three years ago, Putin was dying of Cancer.
He must have found some good doctors.
Too bad. There still is the 9mm option. Who will step up.
