Hard to argue with facts.
We need actual enforcement of existing laws and need to make major changes on the second amendment. Too many lives lost.

Too many guns
Too easy to obtain

We need to increase the age to have any firearm to 21.
Each gun should have a registration number that can be tracked and taxed
Ban all semi autos

Trumpf has taken no action to save lives from gun violence. He signed a ban on bump stocks knowing his judges would overrule! Trumpf doesn't care about gun violence.

Yes enforce current gun laws. But some can not be enforced as there's non-court tested laws that conflict with the 2nd that have not yet been tossed.

Not all "actions to curbe gun violence" lie within the Federal jurisdiction. At the local level, prompt, proactive and vigorous prosecution of offenders would go far in reducing the number of shootings in Democratic controlled cities.

Do guns kill? Not by themselves. The day when AI controls the guns locked in a gun safe has not yet arrived. Same goes for the firearm safely holstered on the belt of a non-criminal citizen.

My uncle brought home several classic Belgian Browning made firearms as War Trophies from WW-II. They stayed in his closet for many years until his death several years ago. . . without a single violent incident.

I used to believe the same things that many of you do. I even worked in a Pro 2nd Amendment lobbying group for a few years.

But I have developed intense empathy for people who are victims of gun violence, especially parents who lose children. I would like them to think that people were trying to make things better. They have no such hopes.

And I think this cannot be fixed. Not in this country.

Guns and Cowboy/Gangsta/Rambo/Militia culture are too ingrained in this society. Too many guns out there and no one will ever give them up.

No one can refute the giffords article can they! At this point, raising the age to own any gun and Banning semi autos would make the best start!
Registering every gun and taxing it would generate funds for gun violence victims.
No amendment is absolute. That's why our constitution allows for change!

The I wanna own this AR with multi cap mags cause the 2cd says I can has become dated and is wrong.
Just because your AR or you hasn't committed a crime. Doesn't mean that many other ar's havent committed mass murder and terror.
Ban all semi autos. I guarantee gun violence drops significantly.

Guns aren’t violent, they’re inanimate objects. Wanna half (or more) violent crime? Make 2 parent households the norm again, and stop passing out psychoactive pharmaceuticals like bubble gum on Halloween.

Ban all semi-autos? That’s quite retarded. Semis are like 99% of all firearms, or are there throngs of people out there carrying around Colt Armys that I’m unaware of.

And banning semi auto rifles will do nothing but give your gun grabbing brethren a hard on because the number of crimes committed with long guns is nearly nonexistent.
