I don't think you understand how independent contractors work, which is essentially what escorts are. They're not getting paid 40 hours a week, they have a lot of time they spend working that isn't included in that hourly charge, they have downtime in between clients, and they have business overheard.

Most tattoo artists charge between 100 and 300 an hour, and they're not taking home $600k a year either, unless they charge more like $600/hr, and are booked solid all the time.
