TROPHY CLUB, Texas — North Texas authorities are cracking down on businesses operating as "sexually oriented establishments."
On Wednesday, a search warrant was executed at Chi Kung Foot Spa locations in Trophy Club and Dallas.
Investigators with the Trophy Club Police Department, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Dallas Police Department uncovered evidence that the businesses, operating under common ownership, were operating as sexually oriented establishments.
In response, the Town of Trophy Club revoked Chi Kung Foot Spa Trophy Club’s certificate of occupancy, police said.
“This joint effort underscores our commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the safety of our community,” said Chief Patrick Arata. “We appreciate the collaboration with our federal and local partners in this investigation.”
Police said the investigation is ongoing.

Legalizing these types of businesses would benefit everyone IMO, safer practices and better rights for the workers, convenient access for customers, and boosting the local economy. Just don’t see it being legalized any time soon. I’d bet my wallet some of the folks writing the laws / enforcing them are also customers themselves.

My buddy said.. she knew it was only a matter of time for this place, she walked in a month ago.. and said this place had Brothel written all over it.. she said the lady’s had revealing dresses or night gowns on, that was enough to make her walk out and never return. You would think the owners of these places would be smart enough to be a little more discreet and try to go under the radar, but i guess not. And Shout out to the guys who don’t subject these hard working women to police raids and embarrassment by posting the interactions had on sites like this afterwards. Lol

While the ladies doing the massages need to be discreet about how they dress when outside the massage rooms, one of the biggest factors of why a place gets raided and shut down is doing reviews on public review sites such as this as it only causes unwanted attention to the establishments. It also does not help that the owners think they are teflon and advertise their services blatantly either online or with signs by the door or on the wall.

I second this. Police comb through sites like this to get intel on what the girls are doing. Indirectly we are causing a lot of our favorite spots to get raided. It also doesn’t help that guys want to write every single incriminating detail to get kudos from anonymous people online.

They should also not be so reveling in their clothing but with websites like this it’s an open and shut case.

Well, if management wants to encourage members to post fewer reviews or reviews with fewer details, they should revise what qualifies for PA or eliminate the Amp forum altogether.

While I appreciate the concern, I’ll freely admit I’m motivated by what gets me PA credit and will write and read reports that serve my admittedly selfish interest.

Sounds like a bust. If enforcement of CO is all they could apply, well I can get a new CO under a new LLC in a week. No way LE could close 1000 AMPS in Texas by revoking CO. The AMP business in good shape.
