Trump voters clearly wanted more unaffordable groceries and gas. If Trump maintains these tariffs (I suspect he’ll withdraw them and lie about all the confessions he got in return), the level of pain that people will start feeling could get very bad. If they think groceries are expensive now, wait until gas prices spike another dollar and the cost of daily used goods and food increases. That, along with no one to work the fields in the US since we’re mass deporting, will lead to even further increases in grocery bills.

Will right wing media and social media be able to sell “the pain hurts go good” to average people.

... And yet - there's NO PAIN - just joy and laughter
with the belief that prices WILL be coming down.

And, of course the Mexico and Canada prices WON'T be costing
The USA any more money. ... They rolled right over.
And grocery prices already starting to come down.
