From personal experience the location doesn't matter as much as the furniture itself. When I buy I'm flipping it over in the store and looking at what it's built with. The first new furniture set I bought When I was young and married didn't last a year cause it was not a quality build vs my bachelors couch that followed across the country. That's just my unsolicited opinion
