They shouldn't be able to use these review forums as free advertising. Either they get reviewed of they do not get mentioned.

dont understand: some people *ignore* the no review request, others try to enforce it. wondering why we cant just say: the Establishment does not want reviews, so we honor that, without people trying to enforce it ? personally thats why I dont write encounters, because I dont go to establishments that appreciate reviews. But why do people need to be that stubborn in either direction?
just wondering........

There are plenty of guys who ride in on white horses—some taller than others. We’re supposed to be a community on ECCIE, but clearly, that means different things to different people. For some, the community revolves around the girls, with their relationship with a provider being the top priority—often at the expense of genuine engagement with others. These are the spa simps, more concerned with their personal standing with the women than the broader discussion.
Others see the real community as being among fellow members, sharing experiences, insights, and keeping each other informed—which, at least to me, seems like the actual purpose of this space. But maybe I’m wrong. And then, of course, there are the paid shills—the ones who stay quiet, avoid drawing attention, and have no real interest in any sense of community at all.
That brings up an interesting question: If a provider or even a spa owner requests not to be reviewed, should it be honored? Personally, I don’t think it makes a difference one way or another. A master monger once explained it to me like this:
Reviews are essential for spas because they have no effective way of advertising since Craigslist and Backpage eliminated the spa sections. It’s not as if law enforcement or the state doesn’t know what’s going on—especially at some of the high-volume full-service spas. These reviews aren’t exposing anything they don’t already know. Where it becomes an issue, he said, is when you start seeing a provider working without a condom. At that point, it’s no longer just a discussion about services—it’s a public safety issue. Or some monger mentions that he thinks they live there which send up all kinds of red flags for trafficking.
As long as nobody complains, they rarely bother anyone—only conducting the occasional bust to keep up appearances. Police show up when the neighbors complain. Example: there's a half naked Asian woman in the parking lot fighting with a guy about a tip. Or their parking lot is always full because a spa is running 5 girls out of a small strip center.
I don’t write reviews much anymore, and honestly, it’s because of the spa know-it-all simps who constantly challenge your review or have something negative to say—usually out of pure spite over a personal grudge against a spa. "you paid too much for that old hag" "there are always shit stains on she sheets there" or something with a negative connotation.
These guys act like self-appointed experts, always looking to discredit someone else’s experience, often because they’re bitter about something that had nothing to do with the actual service.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these simps are running multiple accounts, using them to target specific spas and post negativity just to hurt their business. It’s less about honesty and more about agenda-driven attacks, and frankly, I have better things to do than waste my time dealing with that nonsense.
I have to say this—not to take anything away from ECCIE—but Rubmaps, not without it's own issues, is a much friendlier platform, and it’s easy to see why they get eight times the internet traffic.

My only point has ever been. 1 it’s a simple request by the establishment, they don’t want reviews. 2 I’d prefer not to lose a great service location due to unwanted attention.
They had issues in the past, 2 closings via LE, 1 they willingly closed. So their request just made sense to me, simple respect to the owners.
I don’t care anymore. If some people want to ruin a good thing by creating the Calgary stampede at their doorstep, so be it.

Thank you Dinker for your post. It mirrors my thoughts exactly . My regards to The Master Monger for his insightful wisdom, lol. He knows the truth of it.
LE doesn't need a forum to know what's up. No AMP truly flys under the radar. The long list of closed Spas on Rubmaps can attest to that. All Spas runs the risk of getting popped. Bad practices, angry Karen's or just plain bad luck; the unfortunate risk of business. The owners understand this.
It's a bit egotistical to believe our reviews drive the surge in traffic at the favorite watering holes. Gatekeeping, for any reason, will not deter interest in the hobby. I knew of QQ,Katies, A+, from friends long before I joined any forum. The majority who visit our favorite spas are not "AMP connisseurs" who rush home to share online. In truth, most look like they work the auto body next to QQ, lol.
I personally enjoy reading the insights, experiences, even the humor in some reviews. Lately, in place of shared experiences,I'm reading tit-fot-tat like any episode of The View. It's disappointing. I hope we can get back to genuine engagement.

95% of the mongers here found out about the place right here. So this “shhhhhhhh, don’t tell anyone” act is sort of funny.
