Default Steelers 2025, where does anyone start?

Not gonna happen. Reports are that the Bears contacted the Steelers about permission to talk to Tomlin and perhaps work out a trade. The Steelers didn’t even listen to an offer; they just shut that crap down immediately and said no way. Who knows what the fuck the Bears offered? But the Steelers just aren’t interested regardless of how good the offer is

I didn't want to lead with that, but, I think next year, its going to become a way bigger subject.

Its no longer a local problems the National sports media has finally started to talk like Tomlin is the problem.

They are going to need to find good draft picks, and with their ranking, its gonna be tough.

I think Tomlin still being head coach may be the biggest story of 2025 season. I wish we looked into a trade but Rooney gets pushed around. Gruden got 2 first rounders.
But beyond that dump Austin and trade some underperforming high salaries for picks…. then take a shot somewhere at QB.

Everything related to Mike Tomlins hiring, to this year has gotten 99 percent positive press.

It's time for the dysfunction of just being average to end, if being Champions isn't your goal, then be upfront about it like Nutting, stop spending, let the chips fall, draft high and hope for a blessing like Skeines.

I wouldn't mind them using a day 3 pick on QB Will Howard of Ohio State.

I never understood why teams without a young franchise QB don’t take a day 3 QB every year(or higher). It’s by far the most important pick and there are a few very good day 2-3 picks starting in the NFL.

Thats not a bad idea.

My question is, how do you constantly get asshole players and not know it when you interview them?

Pickens for example, Plaxico Burris another, it seems the Kneelers LIKE to find these dysfunctional morons.

I know. Hoping Khan has learned a lesson with Pickens. No hope for Tomlin…he’s made these type of picks too many times! It couldn’t have taken much effort for him to find out what an idiot Pickens was at Georgia.

I played High School ball, before every game we Watched the same NFL film, about the Packers last championship season, before the first Superbowl.

All the Packers players interviewed were in matching team Blazers.

I remember Plaxicos first year, first play off win post game, they interviewed Heinz Ward, in a 3 piece suit, probably cost 10 K, and Plaxico comes next and he's wearing TWO hats on his head, somebody hands him him a Playoff Win hat, and he puts on a 3rd, while wearing baggy sweats, and proceeds to speak like a gang banger.

I said, he'd never see a new contract as a Kneeler, and he never did.

Question is, WHY the first one.
