I have to agree. Biden is diplomatic and civilized. That doesn't scare uncivilized people. You don't know what kind of crazy shit Trump will do. That does scare uncivilized people... when leaders of both sides get to the point when civility has become an afterthought, someone like Biden is pretty much useless to deescalate a situation of that magnitude IMO.

To be honest, it was the deal Biden presented months ago. But like LM said, Hamas wasn't to concerned with Biden in power. Now Trump...he could say kill everyone in Palestine and 49% of the population would be ok with all the civilian casualties...and Hamas realized that.

Plus the hostages weren’t coming home for nearly 2 months. Plenty of time for the whole deal to go to hell. Netty can’t even get his own party to go along with the deal. Trump will soon be saying

“I don’t know Netty”
“I wasn’t part of that deal”
“It’s Musk’s fault”

And the righties in here like Salty will follow suit in claiming Trump wasn’t part of the failure of the deal”.
