From what I’ve read online and the comments here it appears that the story is one of Russia vs the U.S. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Ukraine is fighting valiantly against a larger aggressor that has invaded its country. Despite the reasons why that’s the truth. Anything else is a deflection from the reality of the invasion.

All the US and Europe are doing is providing the tools to the Ukrainians to defend themselves.

Cutting funding for that purpose would be disastrous for us. My greatest fear is not that Putin would use a tactical nuclear weapon, but rather that NATO would get involved if Russian and North Korean forces were to make their way to the borders of Poland.

Failure of our duty to assist Ukraine is nothing more than appeasement.

Trump’s next time Magazine cover will be titled.

The Great Appeaser.

Nice tap dance. My question directly relates to what’s happening in Ukraine and Russia’s motivations. You refuse to answer because you’re well aware, or should be, that when the US was faced with the same situation we were at defcon 2 and a cunt hair from ending humanity as we know it. There should be no surprise at what’s happening in Ukraine, we’d do the same thing if it were our border. Bush and Bush and Clinton and Obama and Biden made bad decisions and here we are.

what duty to Ukraine? your contention sounds like the usual left nonsense that Putin intends to reoccupy western Europe. he has no intention of doing that because he knows he can't win. and it isn't what he wants to begin with.


what difference would it make if Russia did occupy all of Ukraine? so they would have a border with Poland. so what? you do recall the former USSR had a border with NATO for 42 years and nothing happened.


Putin wants one thing above all else .. no Ukraine membership in NATO.


recall that NATO agreed not to expand eastward when the USSR collapsed then did exactly that. don't hold some fake halo over NATO then claim Putin the Devil with his pitchfork is evil incarnate.
