Nothing about this is bullshit, lefty or not. I guarantee you that Trump cares more about this than you or I do. That’s because he’s a vainglorious douche bag that wants respect but fails to give it.
The truth of the matter is that Trump sees the world as a completely transactional place and attracts those that think the same way.
Consequently the only people who are going to show up at the inauguration are those who think that doing so will get them something in return. No one is going because they want to.
But of course this is just my opinion. Take that for what it’s worth.
