Providers and age cutoffs

It's somewhat common for providers to set an age cutoff of 30 or 35 (in other words, they refuse to do business with a client younger than 30 or 35).

I totally understand why a provider would set a cutoff of 30 or 35. When I first started getting with escorts at 23-24, I (in retrospect) had a bad attitude. A lot of younger men have bad attitudes.

I've also seen ads where providers set cutoffs of 40 (or even 45).

Why would a provider be that strict about age (to where they make you be 40-45+)?

Setting a cutoff of 30 or 35 will do a pretty good job weeding out any bad attitudes/immaturity from younger men. A cutoff of 40 or 45 sounds needlessly high.

Age is relative. You can tell from the initial contact and shortly thereafter how someone will most likely treat you. Not always, of course, but the initial contact should be a pretty good indicator. I don’t ask anyone’s age. I just assume they’re over 21. I’ve had a few guys contact me telling me they were 19 or 20 and I had to pass as I have kids that age. lol. They say you guys don’t really mature until your late 30’s, but I digress. It’s all about the connection and mindset.

I've heard the "I have kids that age" explanation too (of why a provider won't get with clients below a certain age)

I honestly don't see why it matters whether a potential client is the same age as your kids.

If you currently turn down 20 year olds because you have kids that age, does that mean 5 years from now you'll turn down 25 year olds for the same reason?

I don't see anyone under20 I don't have kids so that's not a issue with me.

I can tell by the first text email or phone call if I want to see someone.
I have seen guys 21-30 with better manners then 35-80yrs.

Speaking personally I want a connection. Thats why I don't see 20 somethings. They may be hot, but many barely know their own bodies, let alone how to really please a man, or how they like to be pleased. Its also nice to have some shared life experiences if possible.
I often do extended dates, dinner etc.. and would much prefer someone who is interesting to talk to. I'm mid 60's and I generally see ladies from their late 30's to 60. The late 40's to mid 50's probably my sweet spot. Just where I really click with a lady and there's still plenty of ladies who are still very attractive, and really have their stuff together, both professionally, and in the bedroom. Just one gents opinion of course.
I think you'll find that many of the ladies especially over 40 have alot of the same thoughts about connection. Also I think in general men over mid 40's also have their stuff together both professionally, and are respectful of the ladies. Obviously a generalization, as there are always exceptions..

I'm above 30 but below 35.

I've had a provider who only sees 35+ bend her rules for me (She said I'm close enough to 35, plus I lack the negative traits she's trying to avoid in younger men)

And I've had multiple women say they initially thought I was older than my age (based on how I spoke on the initial contact)

Idk. It just feels weird or slightly unethical, to me, to see someone 18-22. Yes, you’re considered an adult at this age, but most people that age are still very naive about the world and I’d hate to have someone regret their decision afterwards thinking “what did I do
I hired a hooker!?” Or they become a sex addict after that. Idk. I just don’t want to be responsible or partially responsible for any of those things. I’m weird though. On the other hand, if someone were to come to me, I’d rather it be me then someone who might take advantage of them.
