Default Deep Blue Baton Rouge Mayor Seat Flips to Republican. More Winning!

https://www.nola.com/news/politics/e...ba878766e.html

Baton Rouge is 53% Black and a white Republican won 54% of the vote for Mayor! This is progress!
Doesn't "you know who" live in Baton Rouge? Lol

More HoHound nonsense about black people. Someone please tell me what the point is and why it’s considered Progress. Looks like more trolling to me.

... Too right we know, mate. ... James Carville lives there.
And just one more voting evidence that black voters are
more and more starting to vote for Republicans.

Black voters didn’t vote republican. It was low turnout and unusually high suburban white turnout. And Broom thought she had in the bag so didn’t try to turn out voters in the run off.

... Hmmmm... Sound like yer saying that Republicans onley
won because the Dems didn't really want the seat anymore.

Deep red states are only deep red when population in the burbs and rural areas is higher than the nutters who live in the big cities. There really aren’t blue states at all, just a handful of densely populated metropolises that outnumber the rest of the state.
