You may not like the slant of some of the mainstream media platforms but they at least try to get it quickly and accurately reported.

And let us not forget that when mainstream media lies constantly they get sued and settle for three quarters of a billion dollars. IE Fox News.

That doesn’t happen on social media therefore what accountability exists on those platforms to actually make certain that accurate information is being shared. Absolutely none. In fact the opposite holds true. The more outrage you spit out the more engagement you get and the more money you make.

In summation.
Mainstream Media: Slanted but mostly accurate.
Social Media: A pit of misinformation, racism, misogyny (basically the worst impulses of mankind), and occasionally a nugget of truth.

These organizations are regulated by laws and ethics, FCC regulations even more so for broadcast networks.

They can be held accountable for malicious reporting and often are.

There are no “True News Outlets”.

When the Founding Fathers instituted a “Free Press” in the First Amendment, I doubt they ever foresaw a “Press” that was sold out to one Political Ideology and to become the willing lackeys by doing the bidding of that Idealology.

When a Major news outlet Give one Political Candidate 98% positive reporting, and another Political Candidate 98% negative reporting, it is not difficult to see what is going on.

Luckily, the American Electorate is catching on to this scam. The Re-Election of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States is proof of this.

Everything in post #2 was reported on, as more information became available things were corrected and reported on again. That’s the way investigative journalism works.

You report the information you have at the time while fact checking as much as possible. As time passes and you investigate more details emerge that might change the narrative or prove it wrong. You report that.

All mainstream media is biased to some degree. But to label it as all biased against conservatives is just plain wrong. Plenty of talk radio is heavily biased to the right. Fox news is biased to the right. The wall street journal is biased to the right. I’m sure there are many more that i’m not aware of.

You’re argument just doesn’t make any logical sense.
