That’s why this is a complicated issue despite what some here are saying.
Although we’ve made great strides in becoming a post racial society the class barrier that we should be focusing on is still rooted in the racial divide that we are still seeing in America today.
Maybe liberals went too far with some of their DEI policies but scrapping them entirely is not the solution either. Simply sticking our heads in the sand won’t help make our society more meritocratic.
Conservative and Republican policies seem to be let’s just ignore it, don’t discuss it, and don’t make my child feel bad about it. Now that we’ve won we can just go back to the status quo.
