Mr. Kushner, 70, pleaded guilty in 2004 to 16 counts of tax evasion, a single count of retaliating against a federal witness and one of lying to the Federal Election Commission in a case that became a lasting source of embarrassment for the family. Joe pardoning Hunter was EXPECTED.
But the pardon is onley for Hunter's convictions.
Not what may happen in the future.

Harris lost the state of Wisc by only 28,000 votes. The states of Mich and Penn were just as close. The DNC are keeping her options open for now. If it's not Newsome or Shapiro she might could be on the ticket again in 2028. With 226 electoral college votes (Same as HRC) she only needs 44 more to get to 270.
