Because the vast majority of available visas are for skilled workers.

There are some seasonal nonimmigrant visas. There are 3rd pref immigrants visas.

And before we say "oh, just claim asylum" that's not a category for asylum. So you may get some unskilled labor tangentially through that path.

Undoubtedly. The Latinos I’ve worked with over the years we’re overwhelmingly practicing Catholics and very family oriented. They were all in the service so freedom loving goes without saying.

As for HDs (axios) tripe, 100% of illegal immigrants are criminals. There’s no need to sort out who’s who. If you didn’t come into the country the correct way, through a port of entry, buh-bye.

I live close and hunt in 2 of those counties. Maga Latinos do not believe mass deportations will take place.
If they do? They will quickly denounce trumpf.
