Crescent Dunes: Biden DOJ Moved on Election Night to Cover Up Alleged Solar Energy Scandal that Cost Taxpayers Hundreds of Millions
Outgoing President Joe Biden’s Justice Department moved on election night on Nov. 5 to essentially ensure the cover-up of a potentially massive green energy scandal, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
This story has tentacles back through, not just the Biden administration, but all the way back to the Obama administration, and it could be something that jeopardizes the broader green energy agenda and the future of leftist solar projects on federal lands. At least one congresswoman is already formally pressing the DOJ for answers, and more members of Congress are likely to get involved soon. It could even have major implications for the incoming administration’s energy policy.
On Nov. 5, at 5:20 p.m. ET, less than an hour before the first polls closed and when it had become clear from the exit polls that Democrat presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris was likely to lose, an attorney with the Justice Department emailed lawyers for plaintiffs in a qui tam lawsuit aimed at recouping significant losses the taxpayers allegedly incurred from a failed solar plant in Nevada. A qui tam lawsuit is when a private plaintiff sues on behalf of the U.S. Government to recoup taxpayer dollars — often alleging fraud, misuse, or theft of taxpayer dollars.
The email from the DOJ stated what plaintiffs started hearing through the grapevine as the election neared and it became clear the Harris campaign was in trouble. The email said that the DOJ intended to dismiss a lawsuit that it had previously allowed to proceed, thereby undercutting the private push to recoup significant losses for American taxpayers...

EV Giveaway: Biden Administration Lends $6 Billion to Troubled Rivian for Electric Vehicle Factory
The Biden administration has agreed to lend $6 billion to troubled electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian to build a new factory near Atlanta, Georgia, a massive giveaway from an administration in love with EVs.
The New York Times reports that the Biden administration has announced that it will provide a $6 billion loan to Rivian, which produces electric vehicles but has struggled significantly in recent years. The loan will be used to finance the construction of a new factory in Social Circle, Georgia, near Atlanta, where Rivian plans to manufacture midsize sport utility vehicles and hatchbacks.
The loan agreement is expected to be finalized before the inauguration of President-elect Donald J. Trump in January, making it a binding contract between the Department of Energy and Rivian. This move is seen as part of the Biden administration’s efforts to secure leftist climate policies before the incoming administration takes office.
The financing is a crucial lifeline for Rivian, which has been struggling to generate profits while selling vans to businesses and pickups and SUVs to individual consumers. The Georgia factory will complement Rivian’s existing plant in Normal, Illinois, and produce SUVs with a starting price of around $45,000, compared to the company’s current consumer vehicles, which start at approximately $70,000...

Kamala Harris’s Rural Broadband Flop
October 15, 2024
Source: Wall Street Journal
Author: FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr
Coverage Type: Op-Ed
In 2021 Vice President Kamala Harris (D-CA) agreed to lead the administration’s $42 billion plan for expanding high-speed internet to millions of Americans. That year, she tweeted that “we can bring broadband to rural America today.” Today, nearly three years after Congress passed the infrastructure bill that created the program, not one home or business has been connected through it.
The Biden-Harris administration recently confirmed that construction projects won’t begin until next year at the earliest, and in many cases not until 2026. Instead of focusing on delivering broadband to unserved areas, the administration has used the program to advance a wish list of political goals. It has adopted regulations that include diversity, equity and inclusion requirements, climate-change rules, price controls, preferences for union labor, and schemes that favor government-run networks. The administration has been handing out wins to favored political groups rather than delivering results.
In 2020 Elon Musk’s satellite service, Starlink, won an $885 million award from the Federal Communications Commission to offer high-speed internet to more than 640,000 rural homes and businesses. By a 2023 vote along party lines, the FCC revoked the award.
As I noted in my dissent at the time, the FCC’s revocation couldn’t be explained by any objective application of the facts, the law or sound policy. In my view, it amounted to nothing more than regulatory lawfare against one of the left’s top targets: Musk. Rural communities stuck on the wrong side of the digital divide are paying the price.
|
Let us summarize:- Biden/Harris spent $42 BILLION and produced bump-kiss to date or even in the next couple years.
- Elon Must offered to do the gig for < $1BILLION US Taxpayer Dollars to connect more than 640,000 rural homes and businesses ASAP, with existing technology.
- Biden-Harris canceled the Starlink contract to spite the nose off of your hard earned money, because... what?!?
Seems like a job for Pam Bondi and the dynamic duo from DOGE, or any average 6th grader even...
