Huge win. But, is it just me or did Wilson look his age today? Malpractice not to use Fields in short yardage and red zone. Stupid. The Steelers D bottled up Jackson again. 8/2!!!!!

Yeah, well he got 9 yards. He could have easily got it. He thought he was past the line. He just misjudged it. But it was there. Wilson couldn’t have pulled it off. DUH

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Didn't. That one yard made him look like a chump. Stings less because they won.
Goes the other way... he's a chumpier chump proving Chicago fans right

Whatever Mr Gristle. Fields is an elite Athlete. Russ is on the downside. They got the first down the next play. Because Fields got them 9 yards. Sorry Chalooch, you’re wrong………..again!!!!!!!!!

Everytime you resort to name calling, I get stronger, Bam. I ain't Tunch, you ain't Wolf and we ain't friends.
You may see it as a wash, plenty see it as a sign of why he's not starting and Russ is.

Chalooch is a term of endearment. Wolfley says it all the time on WDVE. But go ahead, pound the RTM. Not my fault you’re out of touch.
But your posts are getting weaker. Fields is superior athlete at this point in time. They should use him more. Pro Defenses know Russ isn’t a threat with his legs.

Ain't afraid of Fields. Somehow they're 8-2. And we all know that if wasn't for that calf Russ would have started the season too.

“This spring, it took a global pandemic to keep them apart for the first time since they ended their careers on different teams in the early 1990s. Wolfley’s kids refer to Ilkin as “Uncle Tunch.” The Ilkins consider Wolfley extended family. Listeners to their radio show hear them call each other, “Chalooch,” a nickname lifted from one of their favorite movies, “The Pope of Greenwich Village.”
Every post is like a death match with you. This is a football thread. Fields is far more dangerous in short yardage/ redzone situations than Wilson. It’s pretty obvious
So Mr Gristle, I’m not saying bench Wilson, just have packages for Fields in short yardage/redzone situations. Why waste all that talent on the bench. It’s really a no brainer.

Pretty sure we covered that in 381, but kudos on the googling.
You think Fields will get to play against the Brownies?

I think Wilson will start but they will use Fields more IF they have too. But I will predict the Steelers won’t sign Wilson to a 2 or 3 year contract. I think they’ll sign Fields on the cheap and coach him up to play under center and master the play action game. He never played it in college or the Bears.
BTW Mr Gristle, I didn’t need to “google” Chalooch. Woofley coined that word many years ago. Any Steeler fan knows this. Except you.

wilson didnt have a good game but he is by far the better qb.
not worried about next year, lets worry about this year first.....
and fields laying down before reaching the first down could have been bad news if we didnt make the first the next play. he has some maturing to do
its good situation this year if fields learns and takes in what wilson has to offer, it seems like they have a good relationship and im sure wilson is helping him grow and mature.
dont know who they will sign next year and at this point i dont care, win now and let it play out

Chizz, he slid, he didn’t lay down. They’re coached to slide. And Wilson threw a terrible interception that could have cost the game. They put Fields in for two plays. He gained 8 and 9 yards. I don’t know what you’ve been watching but Wilson is showing his age. To me anyways. They’ll ride with Russ for now. He took 4 sacks in the first half. He might not last.

He's been showing his age for a few years now. Still the better player with better decision making and better control on his throws

You clearly did to grab and post that snippet summary.
Wolf lifted it from one of my favorite movies. He didn't coin it.
