Default another bad news poll for Trump

Half of Americans believe former President Donald Trump’s guilty verdict in his criminal trial was correct, according to a new ABC/Ipsos poll.

The ABC News/Ipsos poll surveyed 781 U.S. adults, was conducted between May 31 and June 1 and has a margin of error of 3.7 points.

It found that nearly half, 49 percent, think Trump should end his 2024 presidential campaign after being convicted.

Trump is the first former president to be convicted of felony crimes, and according to the poll, a slight majority of Americans, 51 percent, believe he intentionally did something illegal.

Trump won't get within 6 points in November, if he hasn't fled the country.

That can't be true. I just read the Townhall poll and Trump is up by at least 9 points in every state. They also said he could easily qualify to be on the PGA tour if he really wanted to.

He is quite the impressive man baby specimen.

... Well, Trump DOES have seven (7) or eight (8) hole-in-ones!
Some of them when He was out on the links alone...

... Did either ABC-News or Ipsos give the breakdown (Dem or Repub)
on the 700-some people they surveyed?? ... Because it may have
taken 600 Democrats there to reach that result...
... Just sayin'

Yes. More Republicans and Independents were polled thank Democrats. But only slightly.

Are you ready to acknowledge this rapidly growing trend?

... Hmmmm... Surely would seem the the Interesting fact from
the polling is that 79% of Dems and 52% of Independents seem
to feel that-way - and yet STILL ONLEY 49% of All Americans.

... Not quite seeing how this poll hurts Trump. ...

Salty, if you do not understand the disparity and gravity that 16% of Republicans think that he should suspend his campaign, yet 49% of all Americans think he should, I don't know what to tell you... I don't post in this nutty whore board forum to teach basic statistic arithmetic to MAGA intellects.

I'll give you a starting point though. Put every party in a category of a hundred and then play around with it until you get to 49%.

That's wishful thinking. Trump is gaining support like there's no get out. The black community alone is giving Trump 21% of their support where in 2020 he only had 10% support from the Black voters.

Here you have a chance to do your own forecasting.

If 49% of Americans believe Trump should stop running for President, what percent of
Americans are going to vote for him in November if he is still around ?

Only 51% believe he should continue to even run for President, let alone vote for him to be President.

The MAGA cult has never been accused of valuing smarts.

This post is further proof of that.

They don’t understand the numbers and even after having the, explained to them (elementary school style) don’t believe them.

This poll shows large movement underneath the surface.

If the Republican primaries were to be held again, Haley might emerge as the nominee.

Saw some polling questions that mirrors the voting polls.
Doesn't look good for trumpf. And the trends are all going down.

As they should against a convicted felon with court cases pending that are more serious.

... Let's not get silly there, mate.

What are the numbers as far as DEMOCRATS who DON'T
want the current President to run again?

So, again - I'm NOT seeing a "bad news" poll for Trump.
Most likely it's a "poll result" to help the Democrat
voters NOT to get discouraged...
