,,,Thanks to Winn Dixie for starting this thread -- it's been interesting digging a little into this subject.
Well... He also started a thread on overpopulation and even though I congratulated him on his courage to be part of the cure that he espoused, he steadfastly refused to be part of the change he advocated for. And this in spite of me offering a couple transition songs to help ease him on his new journey to reduce the population. Seems rather ungrateful to me.
Regardless, this thread is about you and your manhood now and you can count on me to help. I'm editing an existing melody to help get you over the humping, so to speak and transition to your new life style. I've only gotten the fist few stanzas figured out so far, but they seem cutting, edgy and on point. Lemme know what ya think so far.
Here is the original melody to listen to while you read the new lyrics I have so far:
Lyrics so far:
A long long time ago
I can still remember how
My ball sack used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those puppies dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while
But February made me shiver
With every paper hanging I'd deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn't make one more squirt
I can't remember if I cried
When I read about a special procedure to get denuetered
Something touched me deep inside
The day my ball sack died
So Bye, bye my beloved ball sack
Drove my Chevy to the levee but my ball sack was dry
And them good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye
Singin' this'll be the day that my ball sack dies
This'll be the day that they die...
If he or she expects others to address them as a sex they are not, that is demanding, or at least expecting, participation from others.
A request is not a demand. It is a confusing time for many transgenders and the suicide rate is much higher than average, mainly due to the discrimination and hatred they receive. Just accept it as most of us today accept gay, lesbian, and bi people.

That’s untrue, and it depends on where you’re at in the world. In many places you can go to jail for not going along with a blatant lie. Not in the United States, yet, but it’s the path we’re on. We are still only using character assassination to combat honesty, not putting people in prison.
The suicide rate is not mainly due to discrimination, that has little to nothing to do with it, and someone with integrity will not simply “accept it” when faced with dishonesty, nor should they.
Regardless of your faith or lack thereof, Easter weekend is a time for celebration of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
And, Jesus said,
Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.
--Matthew 19:11-12
And remember the message of Paul to early Christians. Ideally people should remain single and celibate, to devote themselves fully to the work of the Church. Well, if a person doesn't have the discipline to do that, perhaps a work around is becoming a eunuch. And perhaps that's why Philip's conversion of the Ethiopian Eunuch deserves special mention in the Book of Acts (8:27-40).
Remember Jesus condemned the Pharisees who criticized his ministry to gentiles. And also those people who criticized his blessing upon the sinful woman who wet his feet with her tears and covered them with perfume. To those who would not treat transgenders as our brothers and sisters, I say, "He who is without sin cast the first stone."
I wrote the following in jest:

But really, that's not a bad idea. Kudos to the Episcopalian and United Methodist Churches, which have outreach programs to transgender people and even allow their ordination.
I'm not sure about the importance of their research, but the long introduction in the body of the paper (not the introduction in the Abstract) is worth reading IMHO. It describes the incidence of harassment and discrimination encountered by transgender women, and how those are associated with health issues. And goes on to explain how religion can provide resilience to the problems encountered by transgenders.
People of all faiths and the Republican Party should welcome transgenders. Especially the Republicans. With the demographic changes occurring in America, we need all the help we can get, and younger Americans are generally accepting of transgender people.

Out of curiosity, where in Washington are you bud?
I don’t think posting specific geographical information is appropriate in this forum.

Also, what dishonesty are you referring to? The trans folk or the haters?
Neither, although I’m not certain who you’re referring to as “haters”. What’s dishonest is referring to a man as a woman, or vice versa. It’s not simply dishonest, but also uncompassionate. Furthering someone’s fantasy by reinforcing it, addressing them as something they aren’t, doesn’t help them regain a grasp on reality.

No offense or inappropriate anything. Your profile says Washington. Apologies, sir.
That said, are you saying your issue isn't with trans people, but people who accept trans people? That transgenderism is a fantasy for individuals out of touch with reality. Got it.
This is America. I believe you should be able to live like you wanna live. I think we all fundamentally agree that's what America is.

So ya don't think it's the dysphoria and disillusionment of still being the biological sex that they don't want to be? Guessing you've not read any of the de-transitioned stories out there. FWIW: Many felt like they were lied to.

If you get an artificial vagina, store bought breasts and, especially estrogen injections then it's no fantasy. (It's the estrogen that separates your run-of-the-mill eunuch from your transgender woman.)
