Default Leftists eviscerated at SCOTUS

You don't have to be a lawyer to know that Colorado and the movement to remove Donald Trump from the ballot, got eviscerated at the Supreme Court today.

If a state can't remove trump from the ballot, then that means the 14th Amendment is ultimately meaningless, which in turn means all Amendments are ultimately meaningless. It's also means "states rights" aren't really a thing. The SCOTUS better think long and hard about setting these bullshit precedents. I guarantee it won't just be Democrats who take the hit. Everyone will, eventually.

Indeed

It was great to see. It was even better to see all the amateur leftists lawyers get a lesson in the actual law.

It will even be better to see when Scotus announces the decision in favor of President Trump and the leftists completely lose it

You obviously didn't listen to any of the oral arguments or the Q. and A.

But I'm sure all 9 Justices would have found your argument ("vote my way or else all of the Constitutional Amendments will be rendered meaningless!") to be extremely compelling.

Lol. Whuh??? We're talking about the 14th A and how trump's sham, illegitimate SCOTUS is prepared to cover his ass once again, and allow an insurrectionist triator to run for public office again. Sacrificing American democracy along the way.

If 14A doesn't mean anything, which it appears now that it doesn't, then how can any Amendment mean anything? Serious question.

These traitors are out to dismantle the Constitution one Amendment at a time. Except 2A, of course. So we can still have all those awesome mass shootings Americans love so much.

No, your question is very unserious.

Nobody says 14A doesn't mean anything. Just that it doesn't necessarily mean what you want it to mean.

The suggestion that whatever the SCOTUS rules, if they don't agree with you then it will vitiate other parts of the Constitution is silly and preposterous.

Such an attempt at hyperbole and scare-mongering is laughable.

Doesn't mean what I want it to mean? Huh??

The wording is very clear. It only means one thing. trump engaged in an attempted insurrection. He's disqualified from holding public office in the United States of America. Period.

That is, until his bought and paid for, illegitimate SCOTUS lets him off the hook. Again.

You probably don't even know this, but the 14th Amendment also contains a due process clause.

That means nobody gets convicted based on your or my or the Colorado Secretary of State's interpretation of "wording".

They have to be charged, tried and convicted of a specific crime in a court of law.

That hasn't happened to trump. It's a big reason why all 9 Justices were skeptical of Colorado's claims.

Please show us where President Trump was convicted of any attempted insurrection. You can't and you know it.

You are going to be awfully disappointed when SCOTUS slaps down the idiots in Colorado. Funny how all these other states who slapped this silly leftist theory down actually understand the law unlike the leftists in Colorado

An impartial jury not the rigged ones we’ve seen so far concerning Trump.

A classic recent example. Biden and Trump both have special counsels set up by the Biden DOJ concerning classified documents. Both did basically the same thing concerning documents although Trump as a former President had the right to have classified documents where a Vice President doesn’t.
Biden’s case dropped while Trumps still goes on.

Biden and the Democrats using the power of the government to go after your opponent in an election has caused most to not trust or have faith in the government and our justice system.

Due process and equal rights have been destroyed forever by the Democrats. No one trusts anything concerning any government entity, district attorney or law enforcement.

The fing FBI, IRS and DOJ all are corrupt. Liberals will be blindsided sided when it’s too late and they come after them.
Three independent branches of government is key to our country. The democrats are destroying this and our country, for control and power.

The phony misuse of the 14th is an example.

Lol. I suspect the only "impartial jury" would be the one who lets trump keep committing crimes.

Apparently the 14th A no longer means anything. R.I.P. US Constitution
