Winn Dixie, I agree with you more than anyone on this board except perhaps Texas Contrarian. The only points of disagreement that I can recall are over the COVID Vaccine, and whether a wise person would fuck Nancy Pelosi without lubricant. Perhaps masks too. I think they're good for prevention of disease and you think their best use is for clean up after oral sex.

I have to disagree here. Both sides are at fault, and unfortunately there's probably not a way out of this. Levianon brought up what sounds like a good solution, Israel withdrawing to defensible borders. Is that politically possible though with 450,000 Jewish settlers on the West Bank?

Israelis among others have described Gaza as the biggest open air prison in the world. The current Israeli finance minister, a hardliner, said Palestinians must choose between leaving, being subjugated or dying in Gaza. But people can't leave because the Egyptians and Israelis won't let them. And a Palestinian passport won't get you anywhere anyway. Israelis have assassinated Palestinian journalists, including at least one Palestinian American. And have put the screws to Gaza economically, with embargos and the like.

And yes, Hamas is just as bad. Neither Hamas nor the Israeli government is set on screwing over the Palestinian people. But the result of their constant skirmishing over economic matters as well as security means the residents of Gaza suffer from poverty, unemployment, continuous rolling blackouts and underdevelopment.

I was hesitant to post this because of your time in the country and your respect and affection for the IDF. Anyway, out of respect for you, this will be my only post in this thread.

You do understand that budgets (if we were ever to have one again are voted on by both houses, right? Why is sending money to Israel (Which I disagree with) the responsibility (or fault) of Republicans but democrats don't appear to have anything to do with it?

America will spend as much as Israel needs. Then after all the smoke has cleared and the "War" is over America will spend even more money to put Israel back to it's original condition. That's what America does. America is the share holder of the Jewish State.
