You went from "How specifically is YOUR personal life materially affected by the government?" to it doesn't impact the QUALITY of your life.

I'm still happy regardless of what the Government does/does not do, for the moment. ie, it doesn't affect the QUALITY of my life, but if you think it doesn't affect you, well that's just pie in the sky denial. It affects every dollar you put in your wallet. The regime doesn't give a shit about you one way or the other.... the only reason they might is if you can negatively impact the regime.
