I hold McCain accountable for his Obamacare vote I remember the word traitor coming up but on his military service my comments come without regard to partisan agenda. Being a patriot in my opinion means being able to celebrate someone whether I agree with them on political issues or not.

If McCain isn't a war hero, in your opinion, then the military and military service to this country mean nothing to you. Of course, it's not surprising, because they don't mean anything to trump either.

How about the other soldiers that spent time in the Hanoi Hilton? Did they get the fanfare like McCain? Did they become multimillionaires just by serving in the Senate. I don’t recall any.

Interesting. Now military service is under attack from the far-right too. Can we just do away with Memorial Day and Veterans Day then? How do we know if the people we are thanking for their service were heroes or not?

And can we stop with this nonsense of playing the national anthem and "honoring our vets" at sporting events too? These people weren't heroes. Not all of them anyway. Certainly not that guy throwing out the first pitch today. Just play ball and stfu!
