Well that ghost bomber got pulled from the water that night. What was the mysterious cargo. Thought that would have been a good X files episode.

My family and I were eyewitnesses to a UFO sighting in the summer of 1968 in Natrona Heights, at my Grandparents who were located just to the side of what is now the Walmart Plaza, then, the Geebees Plaza, which was under construction or soon to be built.

Made the AP and other papers.

Spinning, up and down, rotating flashing lights, chased kids nearby on their bicycles and was seen all over the AK valley.

I had copies of the reports, but lost them, just tried searching and couldn't locate the articles, but they are out there.

The UFO , or something else, that crashed near Kecksbrg. I remember hearing that on the radio.

I could find anything for 1968, except a report of UFOs in New Castle. but when talking about an UAV the distance isn't that far.
Do you remember which paper the story was printed in?
