At some point we will see video. Most likely 1000 media outlets have already requested it officially so it should be this week they have had plenty of time to redact it and really we just need to see what he did that resulted in shots being fired.
So what then?
For those who say this is a liberal witch hunt will seeing him point a weapon at agents change their mind? Or will they find another excuse to call it murder? Maybe the argument then will be they baited him?

I have not read a statement from the FBI or heard their side. The information being reported as eye witness may be truth may not be.
A statement was released by the family claiming he was harmless and just exercising his freedom of speech. This is something we expect family members to say but his social media commentary does not paint that same picture at all.
Agreed we don't trust the government. Show us the video. If we don't get some kind of official statement by Monday we should question what is taking so long.

Because that is the ill informed leftist way.
In their minds, no one is ever allowed to question anything when an individual who supported President Trump is murdered by law enforcement.
We saw that when the out of control thug cop violated every basic police procedure and murdered Ashley Babbit in cold blood
Now we see it here where a 75 year old nearly disabled man was murdered by the FBI because he was cranky online. The FBI's tactics were egregiously wrong and designed to elicit this outcome. There was zero reason that the FBI had to act this way. Talk about eye witnesses - all his neighbors said he was a nice guy with severe mobility issues and was incapable of carrying out any type of fantasy he posted about. They also said he went to church every Sunday - if the FBI was hell bent on arresting him, they could have easily picked him up on the way to church with no incident and he would still be alive today. But the FBI wanted him dead

Nothing will change the fact that the FBI's egregious tactics rolling up pre-dawn with massive force were wrong and designed for this outcome. I have already said that.
So nothing changes in that regard
But if the guy took the first shot at the FBI when they broke into his home and he knew it was law enforcement and not some criminals breaking in, then he would have some culpability. Still no where as much culpability as the corrupt FBI because they did these tactics purposely to get this outcome rather than just waiting and arresting him without incident when he was out of his house. Any good law enforcement officer will tell you that
And for the record, why would anyone trust a "redacted" video from the corrupt FBI after they withheld it for an untold number of days? Any video they had should have been released the day they murdered him

Ill informed leftist? Interesting. It is in fact an admission that right wing ideology guides your thought process. Your choice. We can evaluate the case on facts. Or decide on ideology. Freedom is an amazing thing.
In the interest of giving facts their proper attention I will leave this for anyone who may be interested.

You seem quite confused. Are you saying left wing ideology doesn't guide the thought process of the leftists here? That would be laughable to think that but hey you are free to think whatever you want no matter how silly it may be.
And in the interest of giving facts their proper attention I will leave this for anyone who may be interested.
Friend of the man who was shot and murdered by the FBI in Utah says: "He could not get out of a chair without his cane or walking stick. He was not a very mobile guy. It's utterly laughable. He was simply not physically capable of executing these "threats"."
And in the interest of giving even more facts their proper attention I will leave this for anyone who may be interested.
“I just can’t believe that this man warranted that kind of response,” Travis Clark, who lived on the same street as Robertson, told the Deseret News.
Others were shocked by the huge police response to the home of the 300-pound Air Force veteran turned carpenter, who walked around with a cane as he was barely mobile, according to people who knew him.
Local Connor Bunch said the entire neighborhood was shocked with how the events unfolded One day before Biden visited the state, describing Robertson to The Post as a “teddy bear” who took care of his blind son, Sean, who is in his 50s.
“I don’t think he was even given a chance to even see a warrant when they went in and raided his house,” Bunch said.
“That was them serving the warrant but in the most spectacular way. It just seems like a tremendously unnecessary display of force.”
Bunch added: “It makes you wonder who will be next because there are no shortage of people out there who don’t say the smartest things online.
“Is the FBI going to bust in their door too with guns blazing? It just seems like a very inappropriate way to have handled the situation.”
“He would say funny things sometimes, but you know, a lot of older people do,” he added.
“[Robertson] had a hard time himself and walked with a cane, but he took good care of his son,” Bunch told The Post.
“He would guide his son through church and pick a seat for him, tapped his son on the shoulder to signal where to sit. Without his dad, I think he’s going to have a really hard time just doing basic things.”
Another neighbor, Andrew Maunder, described Robertson to the Salt Lake Tribune as a “harmless” old man.
“He definitely had his political views, which he was very public about on Facebook, but I think deep down, he was just a cranky old guy.”
He also told AP: “There’s no way that he was driving from here to Salt Lake City, setting up a rifle and taking a shot at the president — 100% no way.”

I am many things but confused is not one of them. As I said many people choose ideology over facts, reason, and quite often common sense.
Thank you for providing more evidence that the deceased was living two lives. Quite often dangerous individuals will present one way to those who see them every day and entirely another when they feel some level of anonymity. We may well find once the results of searches and other areas of the investigation are released that he was doing much more than just posting about targeting people for execution by his one man firing squad.
It would be another chapter in 'but his neighbors said he was so quiet and never caused any trouble' book of deranged individuals.
Would also not be the first time a church going right winger turned out to be a cold blooded nutjob. BTK comes to mind. Ted Bundy as well.
The image I am sharing here is one that speaks directly to the events on the day of his death. He viewed the FBI as attempting to squelch his Freedom of speech and mentions 'right in my driveway' that is a very personal space to most people. On his property? That must have really pissed him off. A mention of 45ACP which could be easily operated even by someone with mobility issues. A direct threat to execute FBI agents who he felt were acting in a way that violated his Constitutional rights. I can only imagine how infuriated he would have been seeing them return in force with warrants. There would be no turning them away at that point.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
We had this same thing happen locally, FBI agent killed when they raided the home of a drug suspect who could have been taken easily at work most days of the week.
Wife got scared during the door being knocked down, shot around a corner and killed an agent, THAT time it was an agent who was needlessly killed.
How many other needless deaths have occurred during warrants served like this, where the person could have been taken easily elsewhere.
Again, I'll state it again, change the persons color, and, this is a completely different story, how about one of the black militia members who make threats and film themselves with the same types of weapons?
You support this murder, because an old white Trump supporter got his.
The Hypocrisy here knows know limits, celebrating the death of a human being that didn't need to occur.
THAT is one of the sicknesses that pervade the left, that its fine when your side does it, burning down cites, or creating a "CHOP", where other people die in the lawlessness, but when an old white dude gets mouthy, kill him, and celebrate.
Some of you need to look in the mirror and see the sickeness within.
Wrong, is wrong, your beliefs don't justify murder, you want a civil war, say it.
