My favorite personal weapon is my dick.
When someone pulls a gun on me, I whip it out, and show it to them.
When the gun toter sees the size of my member, they drop their weapon and run away, crying like a little schoolgirl.
The moral of this story?
A man doesn’t need to pack heat when he’s packing meat.

truer words were never spoken sir..
another thing that you can say in a last act of defiance: sure, u can shoot me, but my dick even flaccid is still way bigger than your best attempt at a boner even after you just od'ed on viagra. you're shooting me because you envy my massive manhood. we can't all have the goat manhood. we need your mediocre mini-manhood too to get a nice smooth bell curve. while yours is less than 2 standard deviations below the mean, mine, by contrast, is +6 sigma. i'd be a hater too if i had your skinny pencil dick viewing such greatness..
and if you claim no, then take the pepsi challenge with this ruler i always carry with me for just such an occasion..
you're still dead either way, but your honor will be well vindicated when you go out pointing at his sorry-ass pencil dick and folyfao..
and btw, does not even a single hobbyist select chainsaw as ur weapon of choice? shame shame. and no list can ever be complete without even a single vote for the peerless Hattori Hanzo samurai broadsword..
my #4 honorable mention is a can of springy snakes masquerading as peanut brittle. that shit will make even charles manson shit his pants.. (btw, what in the fuck was evolution thinking when it deemed smelly #2 in your underpants as the perfect response to extreme stress. just no, and darwin told me that he takes quite a bit of umbrage with that highly unnatural selection)..

Your obvious lack of knowledge on this topic makes this thread a complete waste of time.

A cousin has that now, it's a collector's item.
A few decades ago I collected wolf bounties with that at more than two football fields up in that northern frozen country.
My personal carry is a Colt 45ACP 1911A1
Yeah it's getting to be a museum piece. But I have a handful of fat clips and when I practice the rest of the line usually goes quiet.
Nobody is allowed to touch it, especially Glock owners. Btw, the trigger assembly on Glocks suck.
To stop ECG from asking about trying the 1911, I bought her a matched pair of Colt 38 Specials (Model 10) with custom handle grips, about a week after a couple of the KC gals took her shopping for cowgirl outfits cause she wanted to go along to horse shows (and keep me out of trouble). BTW, same that my ex has which hacked off the ex. ECG has good target scores.
The 1911 is locked up. The 38s we keep in the nightstands on each side of the bed.

Clip innards wider, sometimes longer, depends on the model. Can hold a couple more rounds.
No longer legal in some states unless previously owned.

I’m curious about the ones specifically for your Colt 1911…wider “innards,” I think not.

Didn't know 1911's took clips... every one I have seen took magazines. And the magwell would need to be wider if those rounds started to stagger stack.
But they do make extended mags for single stack 1911's
will stick to my Stoeger STR 9C with factory 20 round mags.
Canik's usually come with 18 round mags.
One can NEVER have too many rounds available to them if you get into a fight. Really good aim and shot placement saves you ammo

do tell sir! please edify me! expose my utter ignorance for all to see! i admit i only understood about half the gun stuff in this thread, but i love learning new stuff, so now i have some homework to do. dammit i hate homework tho..
lemme guess:
1. you think 2000 rpm is too low. (that's my guess.) i like lower speeds cause they're less mayhem-y and less likely to damage your axe blade. but yup,if ur in a rush, crank up the rpms and hope for the best! do not skip on safety gear! 6000 might be fun; not for me, but try it and let us know how it goes!
i recommend that the axe or blade be well clamped down or viced, especially at higher rpms, or things can get real interesting real quickly.
2. 2000 rpm is too high. (maybe so, but it worked fine for me, with a healthy amount of water. i'm sure lower rpms are entirely doable tho.)
3. you don't know what a grinder is.
4. you didn't know that a grinder could be variable speed.
5. you don't know what a grindstone is.
6. you had a bad day at the office.
7. you don't like me for whatever reason, and you finally have a chance to show me up..
btw, you're fine by me. i'm not interested in a pissing contest. but legit, what's wrong with my statement? i am admittedly no expert, but i do enjoy watching forged in fire on snap. i am not a forger, but it looks fun to me. i wonder if my hoa would mind if i built a forge on my patio. i'd luv to scare the fuk outta those faggots by forging every manner of weapon, for defensive purposes only of course..
this article has some pretty good tips. it suggests not to use high rpms cause it can mess with the temper. i concur with slow and steady. also, there are many ways to skin a cat, as the article points out: a file, sandpaper, a sharpening blade instead of a grindstone, etc. if you prefer a different method, what is your rec? maybe i'll try it out.

Wasn't there a member here that always carried an Uzi, a Desert Eagle & about a dozen "fat clips" in his basketball shorts ?

Unless you’re a knife sharpening god, you’ll never put a TRUE razor-sharp edge on anything with the type of grinding you mentioned in your first post.
My two sharpening systems are a TS Prof K03 and a Tormek T8. I wish I had the dexterity/touch to be able to manually sharpen blades effectively using stones, but I don’t. The only part of the sharpening process that I’m good at is leather stropping (which doesn’t take much skill).
