When will people realize that free speech doesn't pertain to social media? And that the First Amendment pertains to government?

If the government ever starts running social media, then this would be relevant. As is, this has nothing to do with the First Amendment.

OMG. How can you post such a laughably incorrect view when the decision is right there saying the opposite? This has everything to do with the first amendment. When will you learn that the government can not restrict speech nor request speech be restricted on social media. That is a blatant violation of people's first amendment rights

Did you even bother to read the decision ???

Federal Judge Terry Doughty releases opinion in Missouri v. Biden on July 4th, finding the government violated the First Amendment by conspiring with Big Tech in a "far-reaching and widespread censorship campaign."

Judge Doughty grants preliminary injunction blocking the DOJ, FBI, and DHS from working with Big Tech to censor content.

It does when they’re shielded by special legal protections

The government already does, and has for at least a decade.

... Did YOU miss the FACT that the Government
censured Social Media in the 2020 Election??

Told the media companys WHAT they were allowed to say.

... HOW did you miss that?!

... NOW - Judges are stepping-in to ensure that
it doesn't happen again.

Besides upholding the First Amendment, here’s also why this ruling is so important

We now know the FBI coordinated w/Twitter to suppress articles about Hunter Biden’s laptop in October 2020

15%+ of Senile Biden voters said if they knew about Hunter Biden’s laptop, they wouldn’t have voted for him. That’s *millions* of voters affected by leftist Deep State election interference

The FBI, DOJ, DHS etc. are now forbidden from coordinating with Big Tech to censor free speech after this ruling

With free speech on social media, the Leftists lose one of their big weapons in deceiving the public at large as well as their ill informed base

That’s only if you believe politicians will follow the law. They won’t, their coordination will just be kept quiet.

Imagine any legitimate news organization being upset because a judge ruled the government can't suppress free speech by censoring things that are inconvenient for said government on social media

Well CNN is not legitimate

JUST NOW: CNN fumes after federal judge rules the Biden administration can no longer collude with Big Tech to censor Americans.

“It’s a dramatic decision by this judge if you read through it… This is a conservative ideology that clearly comes through in this decision, it’s a conservative political ideology.”

Only in the crazy ass leftists world is supporting free speech considered a “conservative ideology”!

Who cares if they call it a “conservative ideology”? CNN can call it a supercalifragilisticexpialidoc ious ideology if they want. What’s right is right, regardless of how they label it.

As of today, senior Senile Biden officials -- including all employees of the FBI, DOJ, DHS, the State Dept. and the WH Press Secretary -- are legally banned from doing the following in order to induce or persuade Big Tech platforms to censor Americans.

Huge 1st Amendment win:

Senile Biden’s lawyers seriously just asked the Court to stay this injunction because not being able to censor speech and blatantly violate American's first amendment rights would cause “irreparable harm.”

I think we’ve seen it all.

Sen Mike Lee - When government colludes with media to suppress free speech, tyranny has arrived. It’s stunning how long this went on before it was detected and (mercifully) enjoined

I was expecting this to be about Threads. Free speech without all the disinformation of right wing Twitter. Threads quickly got up to 100 million users and I saw the NFL talking heads made accounts.
