Keep in mind, Ricks is loosing money every day they are not open. We do not know what the cause of the latest delay is.

I went on the opening day 6/15 and they were open with people inside but no customers allowed. They gave me a free drink coupon for stopping by.
Went again the next night. Looks basically the same but also some major changes. Althought I did not get into any of the booth stuff here is a review from a watcher/drinker standpoint. They have the main stage exactly the same. The east side area when you walk in has the same place to pay your entry fee. But there is no change. Then you run right into a beer tub ara. Same beer tub just moved east. Then on down the wall is what appears to be a kitchen area. I didn't ask.
Notth wall has the main stage in the same place, bathrooms in the same place, ATM in the same place, chairs nest to the stage in the same place.
Biggest change is the way the have the middle area set up. And I think it is a disaster. They placed a HUGE bar in the middle where the south side dance stages used to be. The old back wall and corners are still there but because of the HUGE BAR with typical glasses hanging from the top, the seats in that area have a really hard time seeing the main stage and no center stages to be able to see.
The DJ both is in the same place. No pool table. Seats still availave along the wall. No raised areas. All the same level except the old back wall.
The center area between the bar and the main stage still has seating but no stage areas.
The old club had 6 or 7 stages for dancers other than the main stage. Now there are only 2 extra stages. One on the east side that is in the same place as before and one on the west side.
IMHO, here is the worst part. They have those damn small spot lights that swirl around and around. There are so damn many of them in the small area that they are hitting you in the eye about every 5 seconds no matter where you sit. It's awful.
I only stayed through 6 dancers. One whale, one big enough to play for the cowboys, one small girl that was overweight but a really nice set of huge titsl.. One nice body blonde but not to my liking in the looks department. One older dancer with a really good body. Reminded me of the type that would be good for extras and certainly good for OTC activities. All were already bored out of their minds doing very little dancing. Just standing on stage tugging on thier tits, then down on their knees doing the doggie style.
Beer was 6.75 but no cover. Waitresses, I generally like waitresses, were nothing to write home about.
It's going to take some time to determine if they will get back to the quality and quantity of the old BDFW but right now it is a fail.

LOL!!! The place was closed for that long and this is what they come up with?
If that is the case, those guys who have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the club are going to be sorely disappointed. And after all that time too, kind of makes you feel sorry for the guys building up the club's grand opening up (no, not really).
I read that the parking lot was full and stayed that way? If so, then some guys are just so desperate for a night out that they would go anywhere and put up with the obviously crappy atmosphere that awaited them. Too funny!
Given the scenario described, there is no way that the atmosphere, number and selection of ladies and good times would ever return.
Maybe they should shut down for another few years and return it back to where it was a year or so and before they closed it due to the pandemic.

To each his own. However, considering what BDFW once was and everyone that went there obviously liked the variety and volume of ladies that were dancing there, after being closed for so long, it is very disappointing what it was reopened with per Go4it.
Maybe things will change as time progresses, but for now, the guys that were so excited and adamant about them opening up because of their past experience there or what it once was will be in for a big shock when they go in after the reopen.

Looks like your comparing it top VERY old memories. That club has not had 6-7 stages in a very long time befoe it closed. I think it was 4 when it closed but not positive. That little center stage was gone many years ago. I am looking forward to seeing it myself. And seeing reviews and comments from more guys.
And thanks for the intel

I think your right old - it probably was less. i had forgotten about the center one closing. Hard for me to remember whether there was 2 or 3 doen the center "aisle" on the south side in front of the back wall, but probably was 2 not 3. Whatever!!! It's not the relaxed fun place it used to be.

It is afterall, really a different club , just the same location. Perhaps with some time, we will grow accustomed to it. Plus, those rose colored glasses get thicker over time

Went by today. Got to say, it looks really nice. You really need to consider it as a new club not the old BDFW because it it not that any more. Birch had aleady made a lot of changes and Ricks added a few more.
The main stage is now less than half the size of the old one. 2ed stage remains the same, maybe just a little smaller with a small 3rd stage on the other side. Looks like it actualy seats more people now.
The back elivated area is now only a single row of tables along the wall. Much smaller.
They added a large bar in front of the back area. Lots of bar seating now. Not as big as BDD but not by much.
Rest of the floor area is one level. Low tables in the middle with a couple of rows of high tables around the outside. No pool table
Where the old bar was is now 4 vip booths and a kitchen. Booths are $165 which includes a bottle of inexpensive wine or champainge.
Food, see attached menu, is a fair varity of pizza, hot and cold sandwichs, and salads. My club sandwich was actualy good and decient size.
Music is much the same as before. Rock, Country, and as few Top 40 thrown in. Best part, volume was low enough I could talk without shouting at my table. Probably louder at night but not blowing you out of your seat.
My beer was $6.75. No drink specials, but they may start the Customer Appreciation day like they have in Dallas.
Midday week day so was not busy. Maybe 8-10 customers and a like number of dancers. Mostly white, a few hispantic. Nothing to get me excited but a most were decient looking. My watress said it was good last weekend nights.
Not many know the club is open so I expect over the next couple of months it will pick up.
Its a new club. Anyone that had their special little feature that they really liked may find its gone. Anyone that expected it to be exactly the same after 3 years will be very dissapointed.
Still have those corners for play, though don't expect much at first. Who knows down the road. That back row that the girls would build forts around is too small now. Those booths have no curtains so little to no play there.
Any Silver City day shift patrons, Randy is now at BDFW.
I liked what I saw. Will try diferent days and times and see how it goes the next month or so.

I just have stopped in just once last Saturday. The new paved parking lot, free cover and small kitchen are nice. Not one cuban attacked me even though there was a 22 year old that was very cute. My beer was 5.75 or so I thought Saturday night. Saw Ryan the GM and talked with him a bit. Said the row behind the bar against the wall might get some improvements soon. The mens bathroom was a huge improvement as well. Give it a couple of months and see if more girls show up.
