Manafort had his day(s) in court. He was guilty. He deserved his sentence. Someone else not being in jail might not be perceived as fair but it has absolutely nothing to do with Manafort's case.

The issue is that the DOJ went after a candidate/president with what they knew was false, unverifiable “evidence” that was manufactured by an opposing political party. That goes against the entire concept of equal justice.
