Please share what you feel comfortable to enlighten those of us who are starting to feel the ceiling getting closer.
Thank you,
Shelter, water and food are the basics, my family (extended) and I have acre’s of land in another nearby county with water wells, vegetable gardens and farm animals. Stock piles of wood from trees on the land and non perishable food. Armed to the teeth. If our money becomes useless and or want to stay off the grid you gotta have reserves. I’d rather be in less populated areas if the shit hits the fan. Battery powered radios, plans to discard cell phones, even if you remove the battery you can still be tracked by the chip (military secrets) First aide items and camping/survival gear, I rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Have been contemplating collecting old metal vehicles (broke down vehicles) to scatter throughout as look out points and temporary shelter from the elements plus the metal shell has the ability to stop some forms of ammo. Got a clue from Vet’s as to how to prepare. Can react at a moments notice, also purchased most current maps. It may be a total waste of time and effort’s but I’d rather be over prepared than not.

Ara, if you haven't served, stfu on calling out those who have or questioning their patriotism. i haven't served, and i'd be the last person to call out a soldier on the far right wing for his patriotism, or lack thereof. Hell, my nephew retired as a Navy Frogman and he's far right wing, and I would defend his service with honor, his patriotism, and his life, even though we don't agree on one damn thing politically. (Plus, he's the best damn dice shooter i've ever seen lol.)

Not every soldier who went to Iraq came back thinking that dubya had a lick of common sense. Even Afghanistan turned out to be a clusterfuck. China? Ya we need our Seals underwater in the Taiwan Strait doing black ops. Obama and Biden both understood that. We needed to stay in Afghanistan like we needed a hole in the head. Biden had the guts to say it and gtfot clusterfucking shithole of a dumpster fire.
Tucker lied to viewers? That’s for sure, how about the mainstream media? Haven’t they lied and distorted the news, calling riots during COVID peaceful protests. Giving credit to Biden for anything positive is complete ignorance, Biden ain’t running this country, he’s just a prop. Citizens abroad were left behind and had to fend for themselves. What about the billions of dollars in top notch military equipment left behind? Regardless of who you deem worthy of your vote, it’s unpatriotic to have served and be okay with how our country is being ruined by any administration. Every word out of Biden’s mouth is scripted, Mayorkas ain’t fairing so well either, the border is secure according to him.

Modern democrats in a nutshell. Fentanyl lovers and women haters, and scared to death of guns, which a vast majority know nothing about.

Not a soldier anymore, but I have 14 years in until I ETS'd out. Don't thank me for my service, I volunteered.

I'm not a patriot. Service men & women are not patriots. Tom Brady is a patriot.

The real military heros are the men and women who fought in WW2. That group actually fought to preserve your rights and freedoms.

All American military conflicts around the world after WW2 are BS! They happened because of American greed, lies and manipulation to take over oil & mineral rich nations.

Guys we are all fooked, politicians and the ruling class got us right where they want us, that is, fighting against each other over things we really have no say so in. All the while they continue implementing rules for us and not for themselves. United we stand, divided we fall, as the saying goes.

Could you please enlighten us as to when N. Korea and N. Vietnam were oil and mineral rich nations.

Also, you don't need to be so condescending to those who want to thank you for your service. My father and several uncles were members of the greatest generation and fought either in Europe of against Japan during WWII, so we all grew up with respect for those who served. During the closing years of Vietnam I was in high school junior ROTC and we had heard from our instructors (SCPO and LCDR Navy) how badly the veterans returning from Vietnam were treated. So over the decades we learned our lesson, to treat the members of our services with respect, maybe buy them breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Even though I detest your online persona, I still respect you serving our country no matter the reason you signed up for or whether you like it or not.

^^++well said Dear John, about respecting service members regardless if they're right or left. the fact is they put their lives on the line so the rest of us can enjoy our freedoms.

Does anyone really watch the news on cable any more? I don't really like any of the mainstream media channels - MSNBC, CNN, FOX - all seems like propaganda!

That anyone would think either the Democrat party or republican party is righteous is laughable - both parties have shown they are all in the same gang, and we are not. While our government "servants" enjoy becoming multi-millionaires in office through insider trading, corrupt deals with corporate lobbyists, and sending their talking points to various media outlets - the average american is busting their ass to make it through this period of a sluggish economy and high inflation. Biden needs to be replaced with someone with better mental acuity - its plain as day he is not up to the job.
