It’s difficult to skirt around a problem without identifying what the problem is. You call it targeting but how else can anyone identify the complaint that’s obviously thought by many.
Simple solution is to put national political discussions in the place they belong, in the National Political discussions forum!

Who’s in charge of identifying a “problem”? I would guess it’s the Mods and Admins. There hasn’t been any changes to the Sandbox. So, there isn’t a “problem”.

Local litter boxes allow political threads. National or local. Mods have posted their ruling on this several times.

Is it that hard to look for only those articles youre interested in? Scroll down then turn to page 2 and so on.
Also keep in mind. Supply and demand. Those threads and discussions get the attention and click views. Seems like the market is showing you what sells/important to the eccie users in the Pitt forum.

Just saying, there is clear favoritism here. If other people post the same nonsense, they get infractions. If this favorited person posts nonsense, they are in the clear. If people reply to the nonsense and call it out, they get infractions, whereas the OP does not. No matter how you say it, what has been being posted in the sandbox for the better part of a year is SPAM

If you need one or two threads for your conspiracy theories, post it there. Nobody wants to see anybody screaming in their own forum to drown out everyone else. What is being posted does not warrant discussion, because any attempt at discussion degrades down to "no, you're wrong you liberal snowflake!"


It is SPAM if there ever was one. I'm sure nobody here is a child, and should had grown out of spamming message boards. If ignoring a poster on vBulletin removed their threads, that would be an acceptable workaround. Sadly, that feature isn't part of the forum software. So it should fall back on to the mods to cull the spam.

Damn, added to ignore list and his spam is still there. So much for that idea. Screeching is still there

Double edit: logged out and in and the spam is still there despite being added to the ignore list. Apparently blocking doesn't work to hide posts in the board lists, only to hide the actual posts within the threads.

So the brigades suggestions to block to hide the relentless spam doesn't work. Mods need to address this.
