Yall Ever Hit Up An Add That Was A Few Years Old? Did You Get A Response?
I mean like 2- 5 year old ads (maybe even older). I was just browsing sugarnights and theres alot of women on there (more than half are fake surely, but even with that). Might contact a few and see if they bite.

I think you can think this through and answer your own question Libertine. These gals come and go faster then a Kansas tornado! I wouldn't trust posts that are more then a year old personally. Even if they are still in the game, most of them are constantly changing their phone numbers or location they are residing in. Just not worth the trouble searching through all the trash.

I don't do it with phone numbers but a couple times I have reached out to girls that haven't posted ads in years via email and got responses. Including a very well respected girl that hadn't posted ads or on here for years. It's fun to find out an ATF type girl is just UTR. They normally don't respond quick and I only move ahead with caution just in case.

???? Theres nothing to think about, its not a dumb question, nor is it impossible that you'd get a response from an older ad. And the bolded can literally be applied the hobby as whole, thats not exclusive to ads older than a year. Surely you knew that before you posted it.

Go for it then Statue! To each is too their own! If you want to spend time reaching out to "long lost flames", no one is stopping you! IMO it isn't worth the hassle trying to locate some of these gals. Many of them have quit or changed, names, phone #'s, are UTR, etc. I wasn't implying it couldn't be done, just that I wouldn't waste the time trying. You simply asked a question if we had seen old ads and received responses....

Yes, and yes.
Ok, disclaimer, was helping one of the gals hunt old ads so she could turn them off. So yes there was a response as she was sitting next to me.

This "passive aggressive smart alack" schtick of yours has gotten old really fast and Ive only been here for about a month and a half. Your response was superfluous compared the others in this thread (and in itself).
And again, the bolded applies to newer ads as well. You could call a number literally a minute after its posted and not get an answer, or get ghosted after setting up an appointment. You arent as smart as you think you are, bigkansas.

Ok...whatever you say Statue. I'm really not trying to be a "smart alack" as you say. Apologies if I came across that way. Time to sit down, take deep breaths in and out, and check the BP (blood pressure).

You do that.
And try being aggressive/assertive for once. PA behavior is for incels and/or people who dont know how to defend themselves.

So one thing about written communication is that the connotations are not there and we may misinterpret the mood with which something is said.
So "digging through the trash may sound like someone is calling those old ads trash, but it also something people do when they're searching they may have misplaced and thrown away.
The second one that's bolded starts with an important acronym. IMO. So for bigkansas that means calling up someone from long ago is not worth it, but that only applies to them. It's not outright explicitly stated, but when someone says IMO, it's about something contextual and the stance is based on personal preference.
Big kansas does outline some of the potential pitfalls of calling an old ad (number change, retired, etc). So if you consider those potential issues and still wanna reach out, go for it!
Miscommunications and misperceptions can happen in written communication but big kansas is trying to deescalate, so I doubt that the phrases that were bolded were meant to jab at you.

Thanks ughiphopfan! Appreciate the words. I was a bit confused with the hostility I received from Statue on this. I wasn't being condescending by any stretch of the imagination. Hopefully he now understands that.

What are you his public relations specialist? Like I said most, if not all of what he said applies/can apply to the hobby period.

I started a job once and was given a company cell phone. I kept getting odd calls on it so I googled the number. Turns out it used to belong to a provider. So after that if someone called and said the lady's name, i used my deepest gruff voice and said "You wanna date with her?" Lol
