Well I just ate the last of what I made the other day.
Iron Horse is new out here and has chili. They are where Summit Hickory Pit was. Pull up menu online. I think Johnny's Tavern has chili also. They are at 50hwy and Todd George in with Price Chopper.

Mid October every year Lee's Summit throws a ChiliFest.
That's a must do.

Almost an entire city block of competitors cooking whatever they throw in the pot.

Home made chili with chopped onions and some tamales ..Never heard of rice with chili

Asking KC if it's chili is tasty is like asking do we have great BBQ or if we have a great football team. Answer.......HELL YES!
Usually onions and crushed saltine crackers, occasionally cheese on top.

Good Choice. I have driven all the way across town to visit Dixons Chili.

I also know people from New Mexico who will alwas visit Dixons when they are in town. I used to send some Dixons to some friends in Michigan.

It is just short drive from Lees Summit.
