They already don't have drinks specials and happy hour except for the 3rd Wednesday of each month they have the $2 you call it beers and single shot cocktails.


I bet Rick's will also take away the free lunch buffet and 4 pm to 8 pm buffet that's is on 6 days a week.

I serisously doubt another $7 at the door will have any real impact at Baby Dolls. It's where the girls are so guys will keep going. Drinks are already expensive. If one cannot afford an additional $7, they have no business going

Agreed. I figure the fixed costs of getting in, strategic tipping, 1-2 drinks max, lets call it 50-100 as the price of building cred as a reliable source of income for the sex workers there along with supporting the industry. The bigger cost is going to be if the negotiating leverage of dancers increases that they can get deeper into your pocket.

Looks like a few clubs are testing higher prices. It they see little effect on business, I would expect many other clubs will go to $25 or risk losing the dancers to clubs where they can change more. Not that simple,of course,but does look like the SC's could be getting more expensive soon. Rick's will soon own over 10 clubs a in DFW. If they support higher dance prices in all their clubs, look for the rest to follow suit.

Frankly, I am surprised it has not already happened. Been more that 30 years since dances went to $20.

No idea what's dances run in other areas of the country.

About the only thing we can do as patrons is let managers know we will have less to spend on booze if we have to pay more for dances. And tell them every time you go in.

They are already quite good at making change. Your $20 changes to their $20 really fast.

The mechanics are something to think about since many clubs charge you for $1's I try to go by the bank and get some on the way to the club. If prices go up, will have to get more change. My regulars I would trust for change but not anyone else.

Of course,the dancers as independent contractors can set what ever price they want. At least in theory.

Been out of the game for a long, long time but recently started going again. Went Bucks Wild in Dallas and some of the girls were pushing 3 dances for $100.

Confirmed standard dance price at Silver city is still $20, not $30.

So only 2 clubs I have checked have gone to $25 per dance. A sign of things to come, perhaps, but hardly a cause for concern at this time.

Keep in mind dancers will try to convince you to pay them more. Just say no and it they insist, move on. Regulus, There is a sign at Bucks wild clearly stating $20 per dance, though nude it typicaly extra.

Rmember, you have the power but you must be willing to walk away from any and all dancers. If they want too much, wont give you what you want, etc. Walk away. No matter how hot she is, no matter how much she reminds you of your 9th grade english teacher, you have to be willing to walk away or you WILL get taken advantage of.

I've been getting dances for over 40 years now and dances have always been, and ARE, $20 each. Strip joints and strip joint managers don't set dance prices - that is negotiated between the stripper and customer.


So you must always negotiate the dance price before a dance even starts. If you hear "3 dances for $100" you need to reject that stripper. If she offers to come down to $20 per dance you need to reject that stripper because you don't want to get dances from a stripper who thinks she's giving a discounted dance.


FOH with calling around to hide joints and asking the door girl how much dances are.

Not sure if this belongs in this thread but went back to Chicas locas after not going for a while and got dances with V…, she tried to get me to do VIP and when I asked how much she quoted me $450, I almost laughed out loud . Is this the norm??

I was at the Lodge Saturday night and a stripper tried to get me to pay $3-400 to go over to the side couches (not VIP) for an undetermined amount of time. I'll give her credit she did sit in my lap for a good 10 minutes before making that pitch but that was a quick no.

Good point that they set their own prices, but you can say no. I think they count on tweaking up Jr and think he'll say yeah when I'd say no, which we all know works from time to time.

I asked a super hot dancer at B Wild how much she charges to sit with you in VIP and she quoted 1200… stripper math is funny isn’t it? 20-25 dances times $30 per nude dance is $600-750… Wow. I don’t think she will even play for 1200 so… yes prices are rising! Their math teacher failed them though…

You can find a woman/sugar baby as hot as her in Mexico and $1200 would get you laid every date for a month.

In Colombia, it would be three months.

People don’t set prices, markets do. If the market will bear $30/dance (or$40or $100), bars will charge it. If not, they will lower their prices or go out of business.

This is true of almost all businesses, but especially true of strip clubs. Barriers to entry are low, no market participant has anything approaching a monopoly, share of the market, and there are many close substitutes (including escorts, civilian girlfriends, porn, or Rosy Palm).
