In the short term, yes. They knew it was unconstitutional and did it anyway in a corrupt play for votes in the midterms. And they succeeded

I don't worry though that Gen Z will be libs for life. In general, the young are always more liberal because they are ill-informed. They learn and become better informed over time and become much more conservative
